My parents are fine with the  Chatterbox. Just as long as I don't spend every minute here, use my time wisely (Like if I have homework, do that first!), and no personal information.

If they say "empty headed people talking about empty headed things," point them toward one of the MB Hot Topics threads, and then let them decide. We talk about issues, too.

My parents know about NaNo, JaNo, MB, Chatter, and MtS2 (heh...), and they don't have a problem with anything, so long as I make straight A's.

If you really don't want to go on without permission, you could try to explain to your parents why you like Chatter so much (and why you would like an exception to the "no email" rule for MB). Also show them the Hot Topics thread and maybe Down To Earth, and maybe they'll change their minds about the "empty-headed" bit...?

I'm an MBer and I have a solution! All you have to do is make up an email address and put it in there. Like, say, randompeople@weirdness.com. You'll show up fine. And no, there's nothing that gets sent to anyone- I MuseBlog in secret, too:):):) So don't be alarmed. You can be a MBer whenever you want! On the MuseBlog, I'm Mago Berry, by the way.
