Oooo! German!! That's so cool, the only German word I know is Rottweiler, and I don't even know what it means, I just know it's German.

Oh my gosh!! You speak German!! That's so cool! Where's your dad from? Käse=Cheese It's said with a long a sound.

HI! My name is R~D~. I think I had a few posts under Robyn D (my actual name) but I don't really remember when/why I changed to R~D~. I guess it just came. I'm 14... 15 in 35 days(!!!!). I love to read and write and take pictures. I also really like to be organized and bake and make jewelry and cards. I can be very shy. When I first meet someone I am very polite; many people comment on how nicely I talk on the phone and hold conversations with adults. I'm more friends with the adults on my brother's soccer team then my mom is. hehe. I do like to joke around and trash talk but I'm not the best at it. I LOVE playing board games. Well, just about any game, really! I guess you could say I'm pretty girly- I hate bugs and spiders and even though we hike a lot, I don't really enjoy it (Well, I enjoy the views and the family time and getting down and dirty sometimes, but just not all the time). And I love to shop and I adore clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, etc. But of course my love for God comes before all of that. I'm Catholic. I'm 5' 5 & 1/2''. Last time I checked.
I have an older sister and three younger siblings. We live near the Sound in Washington. (I will not say which Sound). (Sound is kinda like an inlet of ocean water). I share a room with my older sister, but it's a really large room and we put tall closets and cabinets in between to separate our rooms. My room is put-together. There's an obvious theme. Blue, green, dolphins, turtles and the ocean and lots of pictures or my friends and family and such.
Well, that's a little bit about me. If you have any questions, just ask! I can't promise I'll get back to you soon though, since I really shouldn't be on the internet anyway (limiting internet and CB time for Lent.)

I'm not really sure where my dad's from. I don't remember him ever telling me, which is really odd. Okay Kase! I don't know how to do those letters or anything like that on my computer so I know I spelled it wrong. Rottweiler I think that's just a dog. I'm not entirely sure. That's one of those things I never learned. But I can ask my dad when he gets home. Admin do you know? What about you Elizabeth?
Käse is German for cheese, yes. I just looked it up. There's an umlaut over the a, and it's two syllables. Rottweiler is a dog named after the German city Rottweil.

Okay, I knew it was a dog (My dog leader raises Rottweilers, and I got to show one in the very first Sieger show in the USA. They are amazing dogs!!!!!), but I wasn't sure if meant anything or not, thanks Admin!

Admin, you've been to Vancouver Island? Did you visit the mountains there, since you love mountains?
No, I didn't visit any mountains on the island. It was just a day tour from the city of Vancouver: bus to ferry boat, then bus to the Gardens. After that we had high tea at the Empress Hotel and walked around the streets of Victoria. Then it was time to catch the bus back to the ferry. I'll have to visit the mountains there next time. We did take another day trip from Vancouver up to Whistler, where we rode a ski lift to the top of the mountain. It was raining in town, which changed to snow on the way up.

Well, if you do visit the mountains, be aware that endangered Vancouver island marmots live there. There are so few left that you shouldn't expect to actually see any, but I would really love to see their habitat! I was obsessed with them in 5th grade, and I still really love them.
We saw some kind of marmots in Grand Teton National Park last June!

@Sam-- Rotweiler is a dog but it could mean something else... Take dachshund for example. The direct translation is Badger Hound...

Where's Grand Teton National Park?
It's in Wyoming, just south of Yellowstone National Park. The Grand Tetons are part of the Rocky Mountains.

We're planning to go there sometime! It's supposed to be really beautiful!
(April 13, 2011 - 12:25 pm)
It is. We're an hour and a half-ish south of it.
(April 14, 2011 - 8:35 pm)
Ah. Well, Vancouver island marmots don't live in Wyoming, but that's really cool! I'm not sure exactly what kind they were; I don't know much about the other kinds.

Hellooooooo. *dramatic gesture* I... am TNÖ!
[thunder booms. it's all very dramatic and scary.]
I'm hopelessly behind on Script Frenzy right now, can you tell?
I like writing, reading, the Internet, theatre, singing, wild dramatic gestures, TV Tropes, and procrastinating on various Not Important Things™.
Specifically, CB-wise, I do... random things. Er... I'm on CC the least, then DE, and frequent BB, PP, and I more or less equally. Generally I'm bad at consistent RPing, so with the exception of the EPIC HPRP from like... 2009... I'm not particularly active on RP threads even though I like it.
More... generally, I enjoy quoting Discworld, Invader Zim, and Sondheim musicals at people. I am incapable of writing an essay without using the word "furthermore" at least once. Ummm. Yeah.
I'm going to Cornell next fall and double majoring in theatre and English. Is very exciting.
Ummmm.... That's all.
*wanders away*
"High above Cayuga's waters . . ." in Ithaca, NY, that Cornell, the great university, TNO? There's also Cornell College, much smaller, I think, in Iowa. Or is there even another one?

Speaking of TVTropes, I would like to take this opportunity to curse you for helping to create my addiction to that zarking website: zark you.
(April 14, 2011 - 7:03 am)
TV Tropes ruined my life. :D
@Admin: I meant the one in Iowa, because... small liberal arts colleges FTW. Yeah. And because they have a brilliant theatre program. ...And Mount Vernon is pretty. /rambling.
@Elizabeth D.: Yay for small liberal arts colleges, but boo for not getting in. Where did your brother end up going?
Thanks, TNO. Iowa is a beautiful state. And I also had a small liberal arts college education.
