9. Who was the daughter of Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII? Elizabeth... Tudor?  I know it's an Elizabeth.

10. Which mammal lays eggs? a platypus?

So you got: 3(1/2), 4(1/2),5(1/2),6, 7, 8 (Pluto is not a planet so: 1/2),9,10,11(4/6)

Again English is not a Romance Language. I'm glad you liked it!! ;)

Barcelona is in Spain but not the capital. Madrid is. He was an Egyptian boy but not the oldest. Ever heard of Lucy? I'll give you 0.5 on #8. Ok? And I'll give you a 0.5 on 5.

You got: 3, 6,7,9(The later Queen Elizabeth), 10,11(4/6)*

*German and English aren't romance languages. They're Germanic.

Oh, sorry I forgot something: you get a half point on #5.

1. When did World War 2 End? Um... 1948?

2. What’s the capital of Spain?  Madrid

3. Who was the first person to ever fly a plane? Either Wilbur or Orville Wright, for 3 minutes

4. Who was the oldest person ever found? What do you mean? If you're talking about how long their life was, that was on the other quiz, and it's a French woman who was 122. If you mean oldest as in time existed, including after death, is that counting all hominids or just Homo Sapiens? If all homonids, that can't really be answered because it's hard to know who counts as human and who's just an ape, but I'd say probably Lucy. If just Homo sapiens, I really don't know.

5. Do snakes lay eggs? Yes

6. What is the difference between a hurricane and a tsunami? A hurricane is an actual storm with wind and flooding and the like that travels over water and eventually hits land, but gets weaker at that point and eventually stops existing. It's shaped a bit like the edge of a disc and has a hole in the middle which is mostly empty, called an eye. A tsunami is just a huge wave.

7. What’s the largest country in the world? Do you mean in terms of geographical size or population? If the former, Russia. If the latter... I have no idea. The U.S. is large, but I don't know if it's that large...? It's just a wild guess; I mean, it certainly has a lot of influence, which implies a lot of people, but I'm probably wrong.

8. Can you name all the planets (in order please!)? No, I cannot. I doubt anyone can, even astronomers. New planets are being discovered quite often, and it would be difficult to memorize them all. I can name all the planets in our solar system, though. I'm not sure what you mean by 'in order' because that could mean any order, but I suppose they're usually taught from closest to farthest from the sun, so that's the order I'll put them in: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune

9. Who was the daughter of Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII? Queen Elizabeth I, right?

10. Which mammal lays eggs? All monotremes lay eggs. There are 3 species of monotremes: the platypus, the long-beaked echidna, and the short-beaked echidna. One of the echidna species is also known as the spiny anteater, but I can't remember which; I think it was the long-beaked, but I'm not sure.

11. What are the 6 most widely spoken romance languages? I have no idea. Um... Wel, definitely not Latin.... Er... Spanish, Italian, French... and I don't know of any others. If any of those are right, I'd like partial credit.

12. Who was the youngest male president? I have no idea. Was he 36 years old?

You got: 2,3(1/2),4(Lucy),5(1/2),6,7(Russia),8 (In our Solar System! Sorry, if that wasn't clear...),9, 10, 11(3/6) Great Job, Ima!!

Oh and this is to everybody else. I made a huge mistake. Latin is not a widely spoken romance language. So you get 3/6 and not 4/6... Sorry.

Ah! Ima! I forgot the echidna (that's what I was trying to think of, I didn't remember if platypuses (platupi?) laid eggs or not)! :)

I assumed you meant actual people, so I did not include Lucy because I do not think she is a person. (Everyone to their own opinions though!)

:( I like Pluto.

These were great questions!

I'd like to note that 3/6 is actually the same as 1/2. 4/6 is 2/3, 2/6 is 1/3, and those are all the sixths that can be reduced, but I just thought I should let you know, because it's simpler. On that subject, is Romanian one? I know I didn't mention it before, but I suddenly thought of it. It isn't particularly widely spoken, though... Romany isn't at all, either, so I'm not even going to mention that.

Brynne's right; Lucy is a hominid, but different people may not agree as to whether or not she's human. If someone says Lucy, I think their answer should be counted as right, but if someone gives the oldest Homo sapiens sapiens instead, then they should be right, too. The only problem with that is that the oldest Homo sapiens sapiens hasn't been named. I think Brynne is right, so maybe she should get full credit, though you might want to check first.

I agree; this was fun!

Yes, I know! I learned that in school! Yes Romanian is one. Please excuse me if the questions weren't clear enough. Sorry!

Oh, it's fine! I really enjoyed it, actually; I'm just really precise and analyze everything. :) Do I get a point for Romanian, then, or not because I didn't think of it at first? It's up to you; I just want to know.

No, I didn't; don't worry. I just suddenly remembered that Romanian was a Romance language and wondered if it might me widely spoken.
