Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
I've been thinking
I've been thinking I want to change my Cricket name. But to what, exactly? Hmm..... maybe Kaulitz? (That name has meaning for me... it is a German surname, and the singer and guitarist of Tokio Hotel [who are twins] have it. I also named my guitar Kaulitz, because the guitarist is my IDOL. So, there's your background. XD) What do you guys think?

Aw, you're welcome! I always thought it was a nice name. :) Yeah, a lot of peole can't, actually, lol. Aw, thanks! =D Ha ha, I'm also going by Lucy, like Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by the Beatles. :)

Oh, I see! Thanks for the explanation. I like the name Clare de Lune, but the problem is that I know someone on another site who goes by that, and I'd probably get them mixed up often. Unfortunately, I always get people with similar names mixed up on the Internet, and with a distinctive name like that I certainly would. Also, that site has a link to this one and it's possible that someone from there could at one point decide to come here, and think that the Clare de Lune here is the Clare de Lune they know... Or else Jenni could come back, or Enceladus or someone, and make the same conclusion (they're on the site as well; it's MuseBlog, so they know this Clare de Lune), and either way I just think it might increase confusion a bit.
Aetc says rauk! Rock or rack or roc or auk.

Actually, I've been considering it too. I don't really like Kaulitz, but Elizabeth and I have not really seen eye to eye in a very long time.
Anyway, no more rambling, I don't know what I would want my name to be. I named my Netbook Ciqala (it means Little One in Native American), maybe I should find myself a Native American name too. idk.

@Mattie: I really like Silmarie, I think that would be pretty if you chose to go by it.
@Elizabeth: I'm not a fan of Kaulitz, myself, but it's your screen name, so don't feel like you have to go by whatever everyone else likes.
@Ima: Why are you going to change in May or June specifically, as apposed to now or February or another time? (I first read that as "I'm going to change my name to May or June")!
(December 29, 2010 - 8:56 pm)
@Brynne. Oh, thanks! You see, Silmarie is Quenya. (Elvish) There's a character called Silmarien in the Unfinished Tales, and I just dropped the n. It means "Brilliance". As for Ar-Estel, that came from one of Aragorn's names (he has a lot!) Estel, which means hope, and i just added the prefix -ar which means noble or royal ( as in Arwen) so it means Royal Hope, I guess.
By the way, -ar can mean outside. Outside hope? I hope not. ;)

Here I am again.... I wanted to change my name to something a little bit more original and exciting than Mattie. Mattie isn't my real name anyway, it's Martha. I like Mattie better though...
but now I want to change it. I considered Itarille Taltelepta (more Quenya) which is my user name on Tolkien Gateway. Any suggestions?????

One of my Grandma's names is May and my other Grandma is named June. XD

@Brynne: I just wanted to know what everyone thought, and this was kind of a warning, so that people wouldn't think, "Oh look, new person!" then unnecessarily (on accident, of course) embarrass themselves. ;)
(December 30, 2010 - 9:49 am)
Mattie: Do you speak or write any Elvish? I can write in it (I prefer Quenya style, because it's easier) and I know a few words.
(December 30, 2010 - 12:26 pm)
Certainly, Brynne! I can write in Angerthas (what was on Balin's tomb in Moria.)

That's very interesting. I don't remember filling in any information in the location box for the above post.
(January 6, 2011 - 10:48 pm)
@ Brynne: Well, right now, nearly everything I do on the computer is on one that my (virtual) school gave me (I don't know why; I suppose they wanted to make sure everyone had a computer, since you need one for online school), and it doesn't remember usernames, so it's convenient to have a short one like Ima that doesn't take long to type, and I don't want anything longer yet. When school ends, though, in May or June (I don't know which), I'll have to give it back, and I don't plan on doing the same type of schooling next year (I'd rather homeschool), so I'll mainly be on a computer that remembers usernames, so I could use a longer name without having to type it whenever I make a comment. In other words, I'm just being lazy, for the most part.
Aetc says vtfx. Vet fox? A fox is hurt?! Oh, no! You're right; someone should call a vet... Or is the fox just a veteran?
