Hello there.........

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Hello there.........

Hello there.........

Does anyone from the old days still remember me? I used to be on a lot, but then I got distracted... by a couple games that were hardly worthy of distraction from this. Now that the new school year has started, I'll be around much more.

I see that CB is still mostly girls, haha. I wonder why boys don't come on here a lot? *evil grin* it was probably my fault, XD, they all came on and saw how much of an idiot I was. :D

For the people here who are new, as in, new since last December haha, a bit about myself. I'm thirteen, eighth grade, Christian, advanced courses in pretty much everything there is to be advanced in (not much yet, unfortunately), violist (WOOT!), Coldplay fan, and pyrotechnic engineer extraordinaire (just kidding). I've been reading Cricket for seven-odd years, since I was six or seven. I made what was pretty much the first post in CaC, two and a half years ago or something like that.

My return will be limited, as the advanced eighth grade classes that I take give me lots of work *sigh*. I'll probably confine myself to CaC and DtE -- but please, no more quizzes! I quit because of the quizzes! LOL -- although if something pops up in the other departments that looks interesting, I may reply.

I remember  you,  Tim. Glad to have you back with us again. Welcome.

I understand, sorry I was kinda harsh about that.  I was harsh on ML's "goodbye" thread too.  I guess I'm just upset everyone's leaving.  Haha, yeah, I don't get Cricket anymore either, I just got my first issue of Cicada.  And, yeah..... I do feel old too.  *sigh* I guess I feel the same as you, but I just can't leave.... :)  Sorry, again. You do what you need to do, don't let me control your life.  ;D

I don't get Cricket anymore either....well, I don't really get any magazines anymore since we're traveling..... ;) Kenzie, I know what you mean when you say you feel old, I sometimes feel like that when I'm on here too. It must be because we've been here since the start. :) Well, we can be old smiley buddies together! ;)

Haha, it's ok.  It's just that basically all the CBers I got really close to (except for a select few, like you), I'm in contact with in other places.  Turns out Zoe and I have a couple mutual friends in real life lol.  And we've gone to places the same day, just never happened to see each other.  Except I swear I've met her before...  She looks wicked familiar.  But yeah, I don't want to just ditch my friends on here, so I probably won't leave permanently, or at least not for a while.  Like this summer, I hardly ever posted, but I still did enough to keep my friendships going. :)

Kenzie, it's so funny that you and Zoe have some friends in real life! Are you friends with her on FB? So many other buggies are finding the FB pages, e-mails and even blogs of other people! :p I can usually find FB pages, but not e-mails or blogs like Mary W's. Do you know how they did it? :)

Getting Cricket doesn't matter. You don't think TNO's been getting it all this time, do you? (Oh, and she hasn't technically left; she just doesn't get on much anymore. She comes sometimes, though... But it does sometimes feel more like she's really left, so I know what you mean.) I don't get it anymore either, actually; I get Muse instead and really prefer it. I still come here quite often, though... Maybe there aren't many people older than you, but at least there are other 15-year-olds! Some had their birthdays before you, too. But I know what you mean here as well. I haven't felt old on any forum, really, but I've felt like one of the youngest on certain ones, and on some I really am, and it's odd...

Still, I don't want to sound rude or anything, and it isn't as if we're trying to push you to stay. We just like having you here...

I don't think TNO's gotten it for a looong time...  She only started using the CB because MB mentioned it. :) And it's ok.  I never said that I'm never gonna post again.

YAY! Someone I remember really well!

:D

yeah, well, in real life I'm tall enough to be a freshman, or even a junior, but since I've never met you in real life that doesn't count. Hmm.... nice to see you back anyway.

*Sigh* You're so lucky to be tall....My family's tall except my older sis, and I hope I won't be short but I don't think there's much hope in that...I'm almost 5'4" like one centimeter away.... And I have a friend my age (well not really friend) that is 5'8"!!!!!! Anyway Tim, this is random but do you like cats? And I think you're awesome....I don't know why; maybe 'cause you like good cookies?

Say hi to the 5'11.5" guy. :D.

My best friend, Sophie, is 5'9", and for as long as I had known her she was taller than me. I grew early, but she grew really early. So third, fourth, fifth, sixth grade it's like, "How's the weather up there?" and then seventh grade I walk into school and run into her and I'm like, WHOA! I'M TALLER THAN YOU! XD

In fact, I do like cats... this is somewhat scary... LOL. But thank you for calling me awesome :)

Hi.  XD

You're taller than my dad...  Hmmm...  and about nine inches taller than me, though that might change, since I have been told I might be 6'1" when I stop growing...  Though that might be wrong, probably is.  But it is also possible, since my great aunt is that tall...  *overuse of ellipses*

I also like cats.  And cheese.

OMG!!!! I love cheese too. I could go on and on about what I love... Tim stop making me jealous or I will slap you if I can reach up high enough *Hnrgg* Ok never mind I can't reach (By the way I'm not violent admins, it's a joke) My bro is like 6'1.5" and he's 14.... HE IS SO LUCKY! *Sniff* Well there are always short people in this world. I guess I have to add up the number of them.

OK actually I'm pretty sure I can reach up to slap Tim, cause I can totally slap my bro if I wanted to but I never do. But I'm letting you off the hook this  time, Tim!

I love cheese!  Though I haven't had it for a few days since I have decided to be vegan for a week, maybe forever.  I'll miss cheese...  And pie.  There are sooo many things I'll miss...  But its easier for me, since I was vegetarian before this and I won't miss meat...  :D

Haha, I've never slapped anybody...  Except my friends when their slap happy so I can make them laugh, but thats not hard...  :D  I also love pie.  Do you like pie?
