CURSE YOU PERRY THE PLATYPUS!!!
Bye, bye folks.
Last year, when I went to a regular public school, everyone else seemed to be extremely obsessed with that show. It was confusing, because they kept makiing references to it and I didn't understand any, having never seen a single moment of it, or even wanted to. Of course, most of those people would probably have still been confusing without the references... Still, it didn't help, and now, I unfortunately can't think of platypi without thinking of it, which is somewhat annoying, since I love platypi... Is that the proper plural? I don't know, because my new computer has no spell-check and I haven't heard 'platypus' pluralized since before June 2nd, and the people who said it cannot be trusted to use proper English, so I don't remember, and I'm just guessing.
Anyway, I also definitely agree with Scientific Person.
Random House Unabrigded Dictionary prefers platypuses, but platypi is listed as an alternative spelling.
