OK, I'll try to explain what all that meant.
Sometimes people will leave the Chatterbox for a day. To see if people remeber them, they'll post under a new identity and give clues to who they are. And everyone has to guess their identity!
Sometimes, the littlest things make a difference. If the person used a lot of smilies
they might have guessed Paige or Kimberly.

Except that Paige and Kimmie don't generally use the emoticon smileys; they use the ones with colons, letters, parentheses, etc.
Oh, and I wouldn't say you have to leave CB for a day to make someone up. I've done it before without... Because it may well take more than a day for someone to guess you, and I don't want to be gone for extended periods of time.
