As a member of TCCP, I hereby open my music-pet store. In honor of the CaC, it has been renamed Chirping Crickets.
The second set of parentheses shows how many of that item I have. Every couple of days I will update my inventory.
Cricket's current stock:

Crickets make excellent pets. And - don't tell Old Cricket this - hamsters will hunt them down and eat them, which is fun for the hammy. Pet or pet food - your choice.
Note: all the hammies are well trained because I'm constantly playing with them.
One packet of food lasts one week for one pet. If you fail to feed a pet
for more than one day, it dies. :(

Chirp's current stock:
piano lessons (1 hour a week for eight weeks) ($50)
guitar lessons (ditto) ($40)

I spent $70 on Cricket's stock, assuming that I sell it for twice as much as I bought it for. *chortle* As my parents (in this online life) gave me lessons so that I already know how to play every instrument under the sun, Chirp's inventory cost me only the $40 that I spent on instruments, leaving me with an extra $40. Put aside $10 for feeding the little beasties for a while, and I'm starting off my life with $30. Cheery-ho!
Yes, I know instruments are not that cheap. My lessons are cheap too, 'k? Chirp is revolutionizing the music industry, that's all.
There's a suggestions box over by the rat cage. Feel free to use it.

I'll try to keep Old Cricket from seeing your disturbing comment. Please agree to sell crickets only as pets, not as FOOD! If you don't agree, we'll summon forces to urge Chatterboxers to boycott Chirping Crickets!

Sorry that took so long, my dear. I was gone. And so on. But of course you may have guitar lessons! Right over here. *ushering into Chirp's lesson room*
That'll be forty dollars, and you can now play easy songs like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and "Yippee-Ti-Yi-Yo Get Along Little Doggies" and so forth. Have fun astounding your friends!
And of course, Cricket. It was a joke. Mostly.
