@Laura: Yeah...and the best are the Mayan ones. Go on eBay (if you can convience your parents) and search '3-meter family size multicolor Mayan hammock (maybe not exactly that...) however, some parents seem to want only the cheapest stuff, even though they have TONS of money...sigh...or at least that's what I hear. My parents are (thankfully) not like that, though.
@Elizibeth: yeah...TNO is crazy too, though. No offense.

Thats too bad Ima! I have one at my cabin!!!! i like it, but it's so easy to fall off of!!!!! We've had a bunch of people at my cabin once and they slept over and stuff. Haha, one kid wanted to sleep on the hammock, so he did. He brought some pillows and blankets and stuff and he said it was really cold, and that there were a bunch of mosquitos and he feel! haha so he came in and went to sleep on the floor. haha!

I just mentioned to my mom that it would be really cool to have a hammock and how I wished we had the right kind of trees, and she said that there were hammock stands! This is kind of pathetic, but I'd never even thought of that before! And she said that she agreed that it would be wonderful to have one! Of course, she also said that right before summer was definitely not the right time to get one, because of mosquitoes (and I agree, actually, at least for where we live), and that she would have to set up the yard so that it would be better suited to furniture (but she's going to do that anyway! If she has time, that is.), but all that means is that I have until September to convince her (and wait for her to set up the yard)! If I try hard enough, I think we can have one by then. Yay!

okay. were going a bit off topic here...I saw a pic of a upsidedown VW in a hammock. it was probably fake, though...wow.
