Hey lizards! It’s my CBversary today, officially marking one year since I joined. Thanks to everyone for making this such a great community, and to the Admins for taking so much time to do stuff for us. I certainly don’t plan on leaving any time soon.

I’ll be doing a q and a, so if anyone wants to ask me a question, I’ll try my best to answer.

For Q and A, why did you choose Sempreverde

I chose the name Sempreverde because I thought it sounded pretty, snd it meant evergreen so I kind of associated that with where I live. I actually learned about it doing a worksheet in Italian, and I’ve liked it ever since!

For q&a, do you have any pets or want any pets?

I don’t have any pets, but I do really want one. My top choice would be a cat, but my parents won’t allow that. We’ve been thinking about getting a guinea pig or two for a while but don’t really have anywhere to put them. I’ve also been looking into geckos, ‘cause I think they’re cool.

It's been a pleasure writing you in my ski lodge, haha :) and you're always so nice and I love your AEs!!! And, actually, I've been meaning to ask you for a while: how do you pronounce your name? When you first joined, I was pronouncing it "sem-pre-verd," but now I've been pronouncing it "sem-pre-verd-ay." Or is it something else?

It’s usually pronounced “sem-pray-verd-ay,” if that makes any sense? Thanks for the compliments! I worked hard on my AEs so it’s nice to know you like them. It’s been lovely being in your ski lodge, and I hope you finish it! *crosses fingers behind her back*

 

I hope you know that I really look up to you as a CBer and just a person in general, even though I only know you here. I haven’t commented on the thread you posted about the impersonation yet but I really hope you can heal from the harm it may have caused.

Tysm! My favorite songs change a lot, but currently I’m a little obsessed with the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song. Don’t know why, but it’s been stuck in my head for about a week.

I don’t really have a favorite place to be right now, but I traveled to Copenhagen last year and lived it there, especially the food. I also really love Japan, but don’t really have a favorite place there.

happy cbversary, sempreverde!! i can't believe it's been a year already!! but it also feels like i've known you a lot longer?? idk time is weird :P anyway - *lots of environmentally friendly confetti* here's to one year, and hopefully many many more to come :D

for the q&a...hm. what book/piece of media do you think has had the biggest impact on the way you see the world? alternatively, what's your favorite book/piece of media in general?

Hey! It feels like I’ve known you a lot longer took even though it has only been one year. I don’t know what book or piece of media has had the greatest impact on my worldview, but my favorite book is the Westing Game. It’s been one if my favorites for a while, so if you haven’t read it I definitely recommend you check it out. I also really like the Great British Bake Off.
