Wicked Thread!

I saw Wicked Part 1 a couple of days ago. It's already my favorite movie. I had been anticipating it for so long and watching all the interviews with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. I am literally listening to Defying Gravity as I write this. Everything about this movie is top-notch. I connected with it so hard. I could rewatch it so many times. I cannot wait for PART 2!

BTW, this thread will probably have some spoilers so beware if you haven't watched the movie.

Yesss I love Wicked!! I saw it with my best friend a couple weeks ago. Defying gravity is such a good song! And I love how the original Elphaba and Glinda were a part of it. Glinda's interaction with the original Glinda was so funny XD Do you think you're more like Elphaba or Glinda? I'm definetly most like Elphaba :D

Yes Indina and Kristin were great! I'm also more like Elphaba, and I think most people on here are.

Wicked seems cool! (Haven't watched it, know all spoilers) but an easter egg is the name Elphaba is after L. Frank Baum (El-pha-ba)

You should totally watch if you get the chance! And yeah, lol, I was on a video call with my friends who all saw it before me and I heard all the spoilers XD

BTW, I'm probably going to reply to every post in this thread because I'm so obsessed.

I haven't and probably won't watch it but the radio has been playing Popular and Defying Gravity like every night in the top 9 most popular songs right now and I've been enjoying those songs!

Yeah, on my radio too! I haven't heard defying gravity though, because it's like 8 minutes long. But yeah, it's amazing because I've never heard musical theater songs on the radio before.

I do this after-school choir and this term we're doing Loathing from Wicked. It's kind of crazy how many people want to sing Galinda's part more than Elphaba's.
