Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Life Update!!!

So as you (may or may not) know, I play the violin. Well, I have a HUUUGE competition tomorrow. The nerves are really getting to me, because when I play the violin on stage or during something very important, my hands become really sweaty (tmi) and my leg starts vibrating more than my hand should (does vibrato ring a bell here?). The thing is, this only happens when I play the violin. Not when I'm dancing, acting, playing piano (I used to), speaking, etc. One of my close friends is in the same division as me, which could make things worse- if I place and she doesn't (or vice versa, which is more likely), I don't know, maybe it would be a little awkward, you know? In the past years, I've always placed lower than her...On the other hand, I can relax after this is done, go shopping, have sleepovers, and my parents won't care, at all. My parents are hard on me before the competition, but after, they're as laid back as parents could get.

Okay, next subject (I know this is looong, bear with me). I like this guy name Gerald, but he only sort of knows me. Do I tell, or do I not? He's like the politest guy in our grade, and he's really nice and only 10% annoying (which is good considering... you know what, we don't talk about other people).
