Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
Hey, lizards!
Hey, lizards!
This is one of my first posts. I guess I'd better tell you about myself.
I have been playing the ukulele for about two years. I have been swimming competitively since I was eight. This is my seventh season playing soccer, and I recently joined my school's choir. My number one goal is to help stop climate change.
I just finished reading MELISSA. I liked it a lot, and it was useful because I was wondering if I am really a boy. I don't think so anymore.
A few weeks ago, I invented a whole world: The Kingdom of the Smell Carriers. They're basically animals/ bacteria/ fungi that carry smells to everything with a nose. Now, they've become the subject of some of my writing assignments.
I recently thought of a new idea for stopping climate change.I've discovered that most people care, or at least seem to care about climate change. However, most people aren't constantly thinking about the "little things you can do ". So, I'm suggesting that you write notices on index cards that remind you of the more earth friendly choice. If you need suggestions, just leave a comment here.

Hello! Welcome to the CB! The Kingdom of the Smell Carriers sounds really interesting, I hope you'll share some of it on Inkwell! I also care a LOT about climate change, I'm always glad to see others who do too.
Here's a link to the CB ultimate guide! https://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/chirpatcricket/node/443573
also, i don't always use capital letters when i type. i guess i just felt like it today :)

This reminds me that I should top our Earth Club thread. Thanks for the reminder, Climate Girl! It's always good to see people who are passionate about a cause, especially one I share a passion for like climate change.
It's so cool you're into music! I am too. I play keyboard (have been for about two years) and have been singing most of my life.
I haven't read MELISSA yet but it's on my to-be-read list! I've heard great things about it. Climate change is a cause I'm passionate about, and LGBTQIA+ rights is another one.
Let me know if you'd like some more book recommendations! I know a lot featuring queer characters and a few about climate change. Poinsettia (who I believe has been a little less active since starting school) knows a lot more books about climate change; I could try to find some of the threads she has posted on here about them for you.

Hello! I'm also a competitive swimmer, and I care about climate change, too. The index card idea sounds great. I hope to see you around the CB!
