Oh, woah! Welcome back, Piano Man. I was wondering where you'd gone! I was never really close with you but enjoyed reading your comments on various threads I was interested in. I'd been wondering where you'd gone.

(By the way, this is the user who used to go by Echo Hallowswift--wow, it's been a while since I've used that name.)

Oh my Gandalf yes this is such a great thread idea

I love perusing the CB's old pages, especially the ones from about 2020-ish. It's as good as a novel or a magazine. Everyone was so hilarious and interesting. Not to mention all the amazing poetry and art... Anyway, there are a whole lot of superb ideas and posts and personalities there. 

It's also really interesting to see how the CB has evolved over time, like back in 2008 people were denying climate change?! It's really surprising. I often wonder if the 2008 CBers ever come back and look around at this site. They'd be in their thirties by now :0

First of all, thanks! Second of all, 2008 Chatterbox was crazy. I've seen those posts too. Also around then there was this dude who went around impersonating people and it was basically madness all the time. A couple years ago, I asked the admins if they remembered that and they said no, so *shrug* I guess it turned out ok.

So when you're on the last page of CB, things get a bit weird. I think things quickly change over time. Like when I go to the last page of CB I find this thread: https://cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/99717

Cbers in 2012 were weird.

@WildWolf, I love this and yet this feels unnatural on the CB :000 but that is awesome and I love it.

Hey Admins, I've noticed that back in 2008ish, usernames and links were flying like a chicken that just discovered Red Bull. Was there a specific event that changed that?

I don't think we've ever intentionally posted users names for or links to other sites if that's what you mean. But since that time, experience has led us to be more vigilant.

There's a way to type in large text, but the only two times when I've managed to do it, I didn't see what button I pressed and then deleted the text afterwards (and also idk if it's harder for the Admins to post a comment with larger text, so in that case it's not a good idea to write a comment with larger text)

Nya says <graep>! ...Oh no...don't make me hungry... 

I think no matter the size of text when it's submitted; currently, all text defaults to the same size and font when posted on Chatterbox. We are anticipating a revision, but I don't know any details yet.
