I chose the name Blackfooted Bobcat a long time ago when I was obsessed with wildcats (hence: blackfooted cat and bobcat. I ignored the noble kodkod; I eternally repent). Since then, I've never really cared for it. So: new name ideas! If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, let me know. I don't know for certain I'll change it, though. I'll also probably try out a few of my favorite names on this thread. If I think of more, I'll add them.

Personally, my favorites are hollow_spectre and ever_fading_ink. I also like transient_whale_fall and bottled_haze.

Ooh, I love all of your new name choices so far, but my favorites are probably hollow_spectre, bottled_haze, and faded_ink_stains.
Also, I just looked up the kodkod and oh my stars it's absolutely adorable.

just trying a random name and posting a random thought. which is:
me randomly shouting at the Royal Opera House violins: "see you CAN do accents!" because i'm so incredibly upset about Swan Lake 2018 Seigfried's act 1 solo where the dance is masterfully done with so much anguish and the violins are like "eh calm sadness at most"
like i get the tempo makes it hard, but you're at the LITERAL Royal Opera House, I've seen your bowings and they're ridiculous, come on.

Perhaps fog_warped_rose would work? I like that, even though you don't, and my other favorites are bottled_haze and ever_fading_ink.

You can fit it into the name box with fog_warp_rose_thorn, btw. :) And I love all the names!! bottled_haze, faded_ink_stains, and transient_whale_fall especially!!!

for transient_whale_fall, I like the general feel, and the image of decay and the deep ocean and not existing for very long and death and all of the cool creatures and all of that. I also think it looks cool. I'm not sure what for a nickname; transient?
bottled_haze is also cool. I feel like this one has somewhat less imagery behind it; I also like vial_of_haze but idk if that's better. I'll try vial_of_haze later too but i keep typing viola instead of vial... My nickname could be haze or something.
i also really like hollow_spectre. It gives me a really clear picture. Idk what for a nickname.
those are the main ones I'm considering, though I still like ever_fading_ink and faded_ink_stains.

what about transient_rose_fall, and have "rose" for a nickname?
Anyway, of the ones you've thought of so far, I like ever_fading_ink best :) if you can't choose one, though, maybe you could just go by all of them until you decide which one you like best! i know these things are really hard to decide
