(August 1, 2024 - 3:20 pm)

(August 1, 2024 - 10:19 pm)
hehehehe no!
(August 2, 2024 - 12:36 am)
I <3 big cats!!!!
(August 1, 2024 - 2:27 pm)
KITTY NO BEEN GUESSED! :3
(August 2, 2024 - 7:33 am)
Axolotol - Darkvine?
Himalayan cat :3, riddle-wren/endless-parodies?
jaguar - i have no idea, let's go with Moon Wolf idk
I also considered going under hagfish, vampire squid, bloodybelly comb jelly (which is red because red and black blend in the black sea and to mask the bioluminescent prey it eats that could glow and give away its location), some sort of lanternshark, and horn shark, which is very different from the others. it lives in pretty shallow water in kelp forests. when it eats a lot of sea urchins its horns and spines turn purple.

@pacific viperfish, Blackfooted Bobcat? Also, all the animals you mentioned are literally so cool :00

*sinks to knees* *melodramatic NOOOOOOOOO -* *dances distraughtly until i fall down dead (i'm being Giselle)* *I'm now Myrtha's comrade *evil laughter**
ahem if you'll excuse the ballet references. i never last long in SIs... and that was me trying to be relatively not easy to guess by not choosing like... bluebird, swan, songbird fairy, the wolf from Red Riding Hood's dance in Sleeping Beauty, the white cat, etc... XD
other animals you might find intersting: deep sea lizardfish (is it just me or is it cute??? ...probably just me. also it's specifically deep sea), bone-eating worm, brittle stars, kelps in general (they have gas-filled sacs that hold them up to the light! or at least big ones do), really any kind of sea jelly (comb jellies or jellyfish - they're different!), uhh yeah. Basking or whale or megamouth sharks for filter feeding sharks. I mentioned how greenland sharks often have parasites called copepods on their eyes that attract prey but damage their vision in a poem. Epaulette sharks can come out of water and walk around on their modified stiff fins. okay i'll stop here
oh wait but in not sea animals! Marbled cats are the prettiest, and they (like margays and a few others i think) can rotate their paws to climb down trees headfirst, okay now i'll stop sorry
also i will never understand how i can remember all of that but can barely even count backwards or do fairly basic addition or remember school stuff or remember where the heck did i put this thing i'm looking for... *shrugs*
this is way too long of a comment for an si
okay sorry bye

hehee >:D and deepsea lizardfish are actually sorta cute?? In a they-look-so-cuddly-and-huggable-ahhh kind of way :DD which Ig is the definition of cute?? But wait idk isn't that just "huggable" and not "cute"?? ... anyways :D and that's so cool how we can learn so much about and get these pictures of all these creatures who live so far down that sunlight can't even penetrate there (does that sentence make sense? Eh. You get what I'm trying to say)! And bone-eating worms are so cool :00 their scientific name literally means bone devourer?? Which is such a cool name :0 and brittle stars I've seen brittle stars (and sea hares!) in tidepools before they're so cool!! And comb jellies what :0 I'm using too many :0's hehee. But all those creatures are awesome, thank you!! (and epaulette sharks!! I just watched a video with them walking and THAT IS SO AWESOME. Although my question is if you're stranded out of water and so your oxygen is going down and you have to survive on your last breath by slowing down your heart rate and if sometimes that doesn't work and you're almost out so as a last resort you just walk yourself to the water so you can breathe oxygen again, then why don't you just walk to the water when you still have a bunch of oxygen left in the first place?? Idk does that sentence make sense? And I was doing so well with forming coherent sentences these past couple days too! lol :) ) and ahh yes marbled cats are so pretty!! And wait I think fossas can do that too (climb down trees headfirst)!! And something else really cool is that... uhh, either coyotes or jackals I think (or some other canine??) can turn their wrists in this way that like maybe if they had like thumbs and stuff they could turn doorknobs!! And haha yeahh I do long comments too (just look at my post about Madagascar hissers on the previous page :P not to mention, this post haha)... I mean, at least you split your comment up into nice-looking paragraphs! Mine is just a... blob. But hey, blobfish are cool! :)

the whole issue of getting pictures of deep sea creatures is actually really hard because of there's so much pressure in the deep sea, among other things. also a lot of deep sea creatures are only found like on one seamount or such. there's a ton we don't know, also questions like when there's so little food why do the animals grow so big? i'll post more later but i have to go now oops
(also my location says Giselle but i'm actually watching Swan Lake...)
