What does your bookshelf look like?
Post a picture of it! And just a reminder from the Admins, make sure there are no people in the picture or CB inappropriate titles! If you think that the books aren't CB appropriate, I suggest just turning the book around so the spine isn't facing out.
I'll post a picture of my overflowing bookshelf when this goes up!

My personal bookshelf has a grand total of 11 books currently on it (23 if you count me and Rora's stories/magazines/stapled booklets) and takes up less than 15 in by 15 in of space, but here's my family's shared elementary/middle grade bookshelf that i like to alphabetize! We don't give away books very often, so a lot of things are below our age level lol

Being on sabbatical, my current bookshelf is quite small, but the one back in Seattle has way too many books on it. It overflowed and I had to move some to a different, smaller shelf.

My parents and I have this habit of not getting rid of picture books that I've had for ages, so I have two bookshelves. Originally I had one, which kept being replaced by bigger ones, and then we got another one, which is now full. However, thanks to people who like to give gifts and the library's summer reading program (which gives you free books if you read a certain amount) we need another bookshelf. (And my room is small...)

This is the bedroom bookshelf, or rather, one of. There's another exactly like it to the left :)

oh dear, I forgot what the photo showed... I thought it was of just the bookshelf on the right. Nvm what I said in that post, then :/
Anyway, as you can see, the bookshelf mainly has older books (I must be the only kid in the country who doesn't have Percy Jackson, WoF, Harry Potter, KotLC, or something similar)! Alcott, E. Nesbit, L M Montgomery, the Cherry Ames books, are on the four top shelves. You can also see a couple of boxes, and a piece of bark that I've got to find a permanent home for at some point... In the middle, on the left, you have books that we've used for school, mainly about history. On the right are the graphic novels - Asterix, Tintin, and Mafaldas (which are in the small stack). Below that, on the left are various books, mainly about religion and mythology, and games. On the right are some more schoolbooks, and my folders - which contain art, various interesting pieces of paper, and travel journals - and notebooks, which I use for my writing. The little white notebook lying on top is where I scribble down anything I think of at night when I'm in bed; the green one is the one I used in 2018, I think it contains some of my best work (which doesn't necessarily mean it's good work, though :/ )
On the very right you can see my calendar, which is bird-themed this year, and on the left is a dollhouse I made out of a cardboard box years and years ago. I don't use it, I just keep it there for ~continuity~ and because I like to see it there :) The window is also to the left, and beyond that, in the corner, is my desk. And thus concludes the unofficial tour~
