Name: Peregrine Falcon
Pronouns: she/her
Appearance: I'm short? Long dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, slight dimples, I wear jeans, basic t-shirts and Asics. I'm also skinny.
Personality (How do you come across to others?): hmm. Well I'm a INFP, but I feel like two different people. I can never fit into one box. I'm creative and empathetic, but I'm also intelligent and competitive. I'm independent. If someone hurts my feelings I tend to snap at them without thinking and deeply regret afterwards. And not very confident. I love to physically exercise and run. I'm also kind of paranod. But besides that, I tend to be upbeat and optimistic. I have weirdly high standards for myself. Basically I'm a mess, but isn't everyone :)
How do you want to come across to others?: intelligent, independent, confident and capable of controlling emotions, not emotionally weak. Everyone does see me as this, since I'm not that social and good at covering up my insecurities.
Favorite music: modern and traditional Greek, and classical
Favorite place: Greece
Current or latest writing projects: poems about birds :)
Dreams for the future: I want to become a master falconer and be part of the Hellenic Falconry Association.
Romantic or pragmatic: both
If you were the number seven, what would you think of the number six?: we're both great!
A funny story or anecdote you recently heard (alternatively, it can be something funny you've seen yourself): people in giant eyeball costumes running towards me and my family. Yes this actually happened.
Top three favorite foods: gigantes plaki (aka giant beans), mocha cookie crunch at Starbucks (is this a food?), and rice
You can either go have tea with Bertie Wooster, or explore Italy with Ren. Which do you choose? (If you don't know who these characters are, think of it as "you can have tea with a hilariously inept but good-natured wealthy young man who relies on his butler for everything, or explore Italy with a funny and sweet boy of about your own age"): is it just me or does this sound like a plot of one of those cheesy romance novels?? I'll definitely choose to explore Italy, I always love a bit of history, but maybe I'll ditch Ren, maybe...
What was the last thing you dreamed?: I was eating vafla (Greek waffles) with a lot of cream and chocolate sauce in Greece by the ocean. I was disappointed when I woke up.
(July 8, 2024 - 6:05 pm)
oh the falconry thing is so cool!! Fun fact, the word "falcon" derives from the Latin word for scythe because of the shape of their talons :)
(July 12, 2024 - 11:13 am)
I did know that! Because I'm learning Latin on my own. Are you studying latin?

Pronouns: she/her
Appearance: my irl appearance--short dark blond hair, bangs, blue eyes, glasses, rly tall for my age (like 5'7) always wearing eyeliner and three inch shoes that i definitely don't need
Personality (How do you come across to others?): i feel like other people usually tend to think i'm really talkative and bubbly, and always saying hi to everyone and things like that. i come off as like...nice but a little sensitive, and the girl who's always asking you to hang out lol. i really like helping people too, which they don't always like. i'm an enfj, so i tend to express my emotions a lot, whether they are bad or good, and if i trust you i'll tell you everything that's going on with me.
How do you want to come across to others?: not so loud. sometimes i'm too loud and i just hate it. it's silly but i wish i was a little more mysterious but if you're friends with me you probably know all the crap i'm dealing with, and every person i've thought was cute, and almost too much things. and i wish i was funnier and made people laugh more, but other than that i like my personality.
Favorite music: all the genres, except country. pop is an iffy genre for me because it really depends on the artist. right now loving tyler the creator, melanie martinez :D, amy winehouse, frank ocean, morgan reese, chappell roan, dr. dre, sza, lana del rey, d4vd, norah jones, the roots, prince....so many but i'll stop there.
Favorite place: coffee shop/record store, preferably both in the same outing

Romantic or pragmatic: romantic for sure
If you were the number seven, what would you think of the number six?: hm. idk.
A funny story or anecdote you recently heard (alternatively, it can be something funny you've seen yourself): yesterday it quite literally downpoured at rowing practice and one of my friends had on white shorts so that was...not so fun for her. anyway i had mascara on and i looked like someone smeared me with charcoal dust. and the steps down to the dock were like a waterfall it was hilarious

Personality (How Do You Come Across To Others): I'm pretty sure my friends (and not friends) and family think I'm weird, awkward, maybe a little crazy. Oh, and funny, too.
How Do You Want To Come Across To Others: Friendly, loyal, funny, courageous, and a person who likes hugs.
Favorite Music: Do Minecraft Parodies count??? If not, then I guess any type of music with a good bass guitar and/or drums. Or pop.
Favorite Place: My backyard. It's HUGE, and I have a trampoline and I recently put up my pool.
Current or Latest Writing Projects: I wrote a murder mystery fanfic and I wanna get it published sometime (can fanfic even BE published???). But I don't wanna talk 'bout what I've written in the last month or two 'cause it's prob not CB-appropriate.
Dreams For The Future: Be an actress. There's gonna be an animated Minecraft Nexflix series and I asked my dad to see if there's any auditions. When he checked a cpuple weeks ago, he didn't see anythin', but maybe I can check to see if there's any auditions now.
Romantic Or Pragmatic: 100% Hopeless Romantic.
If You Were The Number Seven What Would You Think Of The Number Six: Hmm, he looks tasty (y'know like the joke "'cause seven ate nine" [seven, eight, nine]).
A Funny Story or Anecdote You Heard Recently: Well, one of the guys on the mornin' radio show accidentaly drank a fly that was in his coffee yesterday.
Top Three Favorite Foods: Do I have to pick three??? I luv food so much. 1. Pizza. 2. Deviled Eggs. 3. Moose Tracks Ice Cream.
You Can Either Have Tea With Bertie Wooster or Explore Italy With Ren. Which Would You Choose?: Ren. Name reminds me of a online personality who's voice I have a crush on
(July 11, 2024 - 9:32 am)
I missed the last question... Let's fix that, shall we?
What Was The Last Thing You Dreamed?: I dreamed that the online personalities that are in my fave Minecraft series WERE IN MY HOUSE. It was fun tho :)

I wanna fill out a survey so here we go again :/
Name: Poinsettia
Pronouns: She/her
Appearance: Long wavy brown hair, fair-ish skin, green eyes, slender/petite, wears red and/or sparkly things a lot
Personality (How do you come across to others?): At the moment, I appear to be coming across as a person nobody wants to be with, through no fault of my own, so make of that what you will. Humph.
How do you want to come across to others?: Fun, nice, sweet, caring, glamorous, interesting, intelligent, funny
Favorite music: well this at least hasn't changed. Carlos Baute songs. They really are the best - they're so happy and musical and harmonious. Even his pop songs are really good, and usually pop songs are difficult to listen to, but he manages to keep the taut rhythms and electronic sound of pop without making it sound all superficial and deadened. He just got out a new song!!! It's called "Sevilla". Honestly it's not as good as I thought it would be, but he collaborated with someone on it, so maybe that's why. He also got out a little bit of a new song - "Yo quiero un finde contigo" - and it's lovely. The accompanying video is also lovely, it's a beach at sunset (although admittedly Carlos in sunglasses is not the best addition to the landscape) and I've watched it at least six times :) Anyway, aside from that, I've also been listening to rock music a little bit - I recently discovered "Blue Heaven" by Belinda Carlisle and I really liked it. Oh and OF COURSE HOW DID I FORGET TO MENTION Moni Fernandez? She did a cover of a Carlos Baute song, "Amor y dolor," and I honestly liked it better than the original - it's so yearning and it has a really nice sound to it, it's flamenco. It's very poignant and passionate, and it feels like she really extracted all the potential of the melody. And finally, I've been listening to Joe Crookston - he's an indie folk singer, with an absolutely magical ability to make songs. "Oh Mercy Where are you Now" is the one i've been listening to, and it pairs very well with the Election Affairs :/
Favorite place: My grandparents' house, various places in Mexico, various places around here, and to add to the list, my school campus!! It's actually really pretty on sunny days when the leaves are changing color, and I've been having such fun times there.
Current or latest writing projects: A police thriller about a young policeman in a dystopian world (it's the US 100 years from now, under the ruler King Donald II - you probably all know who KDII is), who is sent after the country's most wanted criminal - only to find she's a beautiful young woman who is being persecuted by the government for standing up for justice, and he falls in love with her and ditches his so-called "duty" for love, and they flee the country together. Honestly policemen and soldiers need to think for themselves. Imagine if some nasty dictator demanded a war, only to find that all his soldiers and generals were sitting in a circle trading Pokemon cards with the enemy army, and amiably refusing to go and fight. In fact, if countries were really committed to peace, they shouldn't have armies at all. But if they will go and have armies, most definitely the soldiers should question orders and think for themselves, so that they won't go marching into wars just because some horrible politician tells them to.
Dreams for the future: Pretty much the same as last time, only now they're more specific. I'd like to work in a museum at some point, or some other cultural heritage institution. And I'd like the world to start behaving.
Romantic or pragmatic: Romantic. This does not make life easy.
If you were the number seven, what would you think of the number six?: Depends on how 6 behaves itself. If it's nice, I'd like it. If it starts being disagreeable, I'd... not be happy.
A funny story or anecdote you recently heard (alternatively, it can be something funny you've seen yourself): In October I got to see a Punch and Judy show! It was hilarious and I loved it. Basically, if you don't know what Punch and Judy shows are all about, Punch and Judy are a married couple. However, Punch has a regrettable tendency to throw things out of the window, and this leads to all sorts of mishaps, from almost getting jailed to the ultimate detrimentation of his married life. Here are some of the quotes from it:
Jailer: Now then, Mr. Punch, repeat after me: I am a bad and sinful man.
Mr. Punch: You are a bad and sinful man.
Jailer: No no, Mr. Punch, you must say it about yourself!
***
Judy: What have you done with our baby?
Audience: He threw it out the window!
Judy: What a nasty thing to say about Mr. Punch! ... Mr. Punch, did you throw our baby out the window?
Punch: Well... just a little bit~
Top three favorite foods: Fideos, chicken, mango/papaya.
You can either go have tea with Bertie Wooster, or explore Italy with
Ren. Which do you choose? (If you don't know who these characters are,
think of it as "you can have tea with a hilariously inept but
good-natured wealthy young man who relies on his butler for everything,
or explore Italy with a funny and sweet boy of about your own age"): Explore Italy with Ren!!! I really really would love to have a Ren in my life. He's just so cute and it's so nice how he actually pays attention to and values people.
What was the last thing you dreamed?: well here's one thing i dreamed recently: i was with G and W, two of the boys in my class. W was carrying on about national security, and i said that countries shouldn't have armies at all. at this idea W began to look very fearsome. he's just the sort to think that armies are important, and besides he has an air of knowing more than anyone. He's always been studiously polite to me, letting me go through doors first and that sort of thing, but he definitely has an air of being suspicious of Women. Which honestly is kind of amusing; i don't get riled up about it because honestly I don't care, it's just funny. anyway, he attempted to interrupt me as i proceeded to explain why countries should be pacifist, but i didn't let him and i finished my explanation :)
