CBers as colors!

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

CBers as colors!

CBers as colors!

so, apparently there was one of these at some point and I want to make a new one!

A couple to start:

Poinsettia~Pink, or light red

Hawkstar-light forest green

Moon Wolf-silver

what color do y’all think I am?

Sempreverde is green to me. Probably because "verde" is "green" in Spanish lol.

Periwinkle is obviously a bluish-grayish-lilacish thing. Mostly blue tho

GloomyBear is red/maroon.

Sterling is sage green. Or gray. Both is good.

Lord Entropy is BRIGHT GREEN. Like, not neon, but not subtle either. Like St. Patrick's Day green.

Th3mysticw0lf is blue-gray. Like a wolf's coat. idk lol

Verde means green in Italian too! That’s where my name comes from. It means “evergreen” in Italian.

Really? That's awesome! I've been learning Italian recently, so that's really interesting :)

Poinsettia ~ crimson red (#ba1417) with flecks of shimmery gold (#d4af37) and emerald/forest green (#1b821b)

Hawkstar ~ A light, dusty brown (#ad8d6d), with some feathery strands of a dusty light gray (#ccc1b6)

Sempreverde ~ Basil green (#558755) layered with emerald green (#1b821b) with shiny bits (kinda like scales) (aka like a green [vert in french = green] serpent)

Periwinkle ~ Periwinkle center (#cccfff) with a vingette of bubblegum pink (#ffc1d8)

Sterling ~ cool silvers (like this, but shiny #c1c5c7)

Celine ~ bright fiery reds, oranges, and yellows with hints of gold all exploding in warm, sorta grinning(?) flaming fireworks (examples of colors include, but are not limited to: #f7573e, #f5683d, #f5903d, #e87a1a, #e8541a, #e8951a, #e8881a, #e8b11a, #fccf28, etc.)

Jaybells ~ a cotton candy-like mix of blues (#97daf7, sky blue [#87cfeb], etc) and pinks (#ffc1d8, #f5aecf, etc) so that there's some purples (#d7c2f0, #e1c2f0, etc) when the two mix/touch. It's also kinda gumball-y in a way? Idk

Sine ~ Moss greens (#4a5d23, #81a13f) and gray-ish blues (#93aac4, #6883a1)

Darkvine ~ Deep green-ish black (#01210a) with deep green (#105924, #097021) vines peeking through the darkness. Kinda like how I imagine the Abyss in the 15th book of WoF

Lupine ~ …wolf-like colors (silvers, misty grays, hints of blues, with the slightest wisps of a cool light purple [#b1b6bd, #9399a3, #b8bed1, #b4c3db, #898bab, #bdb6cf, etc]. This is because I did not know about the flower lupine when I first saw the name. So I thought of how “wolf” is spelled in French (loup) (also that one teacher in the third book of Harry Potter who’s a werewolf I think, he’s cool, Lupin) and connected the two...

That was actually a lot, wow. I spent 40 minutes on that... I'm gonna come back later with more :D

I learned vert for green in French. Verde means green in Spanish and Italian, I think.

Wait, shoot, I meant to write "vert = green in french", not verde. Sorry!

@Admins, may you please change that? The verde to vert where the translation is? Thank you!

Also, I'm hoping to draw these out because it's a very specific image in my mind (for the most part), and I wanna show that exactly

sooo since I don't know that many people on here, I can't really have too many, but here goes.

Sempreverde-of course green, but since the title of the make-a-friend group is Sea Glass, I've always thought of Sempreverde being like a sea green/tealish color.

Celine-like a bright, dandelion yellow--or gold sunlight dripping from trees like dew.

Silver Crystal-obviously silver. that or a pale blueish/purple color, like an ancient crystal found deep in a cave.

GloomyBear-lilac purple. because of the Gloomy in the name, and that I always think of fatigue/tiredness (is that a word???) being purple, I always think of Gloomy being like a lilac purple.

I might come up with more later, idk.

Seadragon~A soft blue-green, like a piece of glass washed up by the tide

Moon Wolf~Lilac, or a certain shade of not-too-bright magenta

Writing~Slightly sparkling silver or, ofc, dark blue/black

Rainbow~Not rainbow colors, actually, for some reason XD I imagine you more a lively, slightly-aqua blue.

Ellesmere~Dark green

Sempreverde-A bright spring green

GloomyBear-Dark brown or black

CloudBunny-A pastel very light blue, like a cloud

CelineBurningBright-A flashy gold

Poinsetta-A vivid crimson

Periwinkle-Periwinke

AmberFox-Soft orange

Sine ~ pale blue

Periwinkle ~ lavender blue

Ellesmere ~ light turquoise

GloomyBear ~ grayish purple

Celine ~ fiery golden yellow that pops out at you

Amethyst ~ amethyst purple

Lyric ~ elegant pink

WildWolf ~ green

I'm going to do everyone who wrote on this thread so far. I'll be back to update it as more people come.

Sempreverde: sunflower yellow and apple seed brown

Writing_in_the_dark: deep dark purple, with black ink swirled through it and bioluminescent blue flecks

Moon Wolf: glittery indigo and shell colored or white sand colored white

Rainbow: glossy (somewhat like butter slime if you know what that is) rainbow with silvery glitter between each color

Ellesmere: soft, silky, misty gray woven with tiny silver beads

Amethyst: amethyst purple lined with gold

KatanaLuna: also really glossy (somewhat like butter slime if you know what that is) neon teal and pink, creamy moon color, metallic gold color

Interesting interpretation for my color! :}

A lot of people see me as green because of my name.

:) Thanks, that sounds so pretty! I'm not sure what color I imagine you, but maybe light orange or turqoise.
