could you pray for my grandparents? they're going through some rough times and my grandfather's in the hospital a lot of the time, so i would deeply appreciate it. thanks <3

My grandma fell the other day, and we took her to the hospital and she broke four ribs and had water on the lungs so she's in the hospital right now, and she has Alzheimer's and she's kinda agitated. She bit my aunt AND the nurse last night! She's also tryin' to get out of the hospital bed and she needs someone to stay with her 24/7 until she gets home.

I hate to beg or ask for prayers, but if someone could pray for me it would be great. I just need the strength to deal with my emotional crush baggage stuff and with my inability to date but being stuck in a situation where we're almost dating but not quite because we're too awkward and our parents won't let us and I've only known him for a few months irl (I'm just now realizing how messed up it is that my feelings escalated this quickly and it's only been 2 months since I saw him irl).
sidenote, he likes me. That's why it's so frustrating,

So my Mom has had some back pain off and on for a few years but this morning she was in tears her back hurt so bad. She was nauseous and shakey she threw up and she had to go to ER. I don't remember the last time her back was as bad as this. So yeah I'd be thankful for your prayers.

So good news and bad news.The good news is the doctors here figured out that the source of my mom's back pain is a really large kidney stone .The docter said he's never seen one so big and they sent her to a different hospital with a doctor that can help her. The bad news is since it is the weekend the doctor is delaying coming to see her. They have given my mom pain medication and she and my dad stayed all night last night. It's just sorta frustrating cuz she's been in pain for so long and just when we could fix it only the bare minimum is happening. \:1 But anyways TY for your prayers! I'll keep ya posted.
( sorry if this is to much and to long @ admins I'm just grateful for kind people in the CB and I don't want to keep anyone in the dark.)
Thank you for this update, TnT. I have a friend who went through a similar thing. Some pain on and off, which she thought was a pulled muscle from exercising. Then after weeks, months the pain got really bad. She went to the ER and ended up having surgery for gall stones. She had surgery last October and is now fine. I trust the same will be true for your mother's kidney stone.

I really hope your mom gets better! My mom also had a kidney stone before, but luckily, after surgery, she was fine. Again, hope everything goes well for your mom!

I have a friend in the hospital. they're going to be alright, they're just going to be in the hospital for a very long time, so prayers for patience would be cool

I also just wanted to say I'm so sorry you lost someone - I saw that you posted about it on the confessions thread, but I wasn't able to respond quickly, so I'll just say it here. I'm really sorry that it happened. It might help to think of the person as still existing, somewhere, even though not physically present in our world. I promise eventually it will get easier and you'll be able to remember the memories you had about this person and feel more joy than sorrow. Even so, I know it must be really tough. I don't want to pry, but if you want to talk about the person or just how you're feeling, I'll listen <3

So last Wednesday my mom got a stint put in and she and my dad came home on Wednesday. My mom has been doing well and she is going back to the hospital Monday for surgery. Thanks for your prayers guys!

Good news everyone! My mom has had her kidney stone blasted and is feeling better for the most part. She'll get her stint taken out soon.
