Ranting about dentistry!

Ranting about dentistry! So, as a few of us were ranting on the thread where I /promised/ to post more often (Yeah, I guess without knowing it I crossed my fingers on that one) and It's suprisingly fun. Therefore, this thread is dedicated to ranting and complaing about dentists! You can also complain/rant about other things, though. I believe the other rants and complaints thread had a number of posts second only to the HP roleplay...wow. ;)

Okay. I'll rant on dentists later. For now... eye doctors. I don't have any problem with them, normally, and I actually like getting my eyes checked. *nerdiness* But a year ago I went, and Dr. G. dilated my pupils. WTH. I couldn't *see* for like four hours (and I was reading EAP at the time--- ML reading EAP + no eyesight = unhappy and bitter ML). I know it was necessary and everything... but still. The pain.

This time he didn't, though, he just sort of rambled about the stereo box thingy his nephew bought him for Christmas, and then interrogated me about my tastes in music... and books...

Dr. G: "So, are you into this Twilight thing?"
ML: "Oh, no, no. I don't like Twilight at all."
Dr. G: "Yeah, I don't get the whole vampire thing, they're kinda scary, huh?"
ML: *pause* "Well, it's more the bad writing than anything, actually..."

Plus side, I don't need new glasses. :)

Huh. I forgot I made this thread. Anywho, I'm not such a big fan of eye doctors. My eyes get about 2 times worse every time I go. :/ When I turn 12, I am so getting contacts. *sniff* Oh, and Doctor G should understand.... Scary = good. Sparkly = bad.
