So excited that my math class is getting pie for pi day!

Yeah, we did too!! It was great! :D
my "crush"'s family celebrates tau day though, which is SUPERIOR (thank you Hex!)

3.1415926535897? I think? Just came back from a crazy fun pi party and realized that all my friends and my YOUNGER BROTHER suddenly became pi GENIUSES overnight whaa??! :D

-- -- -- -- [|} <-- yes, doing this totally makes up for my inability to recite pi to a crazy amount :D

*tosses a pi...neapple in the air*
Oh, why not a mango as well?
*tosses a mango colored chess or checker board in the air (because if mangos are cut in squares, why can't they be chess or checker boards?)*
Okay, I'll stop now.
*throws an apple pie*

Sorry, I am a serious mathematician and you do not want to start with me.
While tau may seem more applicable, really pi is. Tau is only useful in cases of 2π, because otherwise, you're forced to use "tau/2" which is much harder to write (especially on ASCII) than 2π. Additionally, pi day coincides with Albert Einstein's birthday, while the only famous scientist born on June 28 was Paul Broca, whose field of specialty didn't even involve any use of pi. Moreover, most keyboards allow display of the pi character with alt+p, but there is no tau. if you try to put alt+t for tau, you'll get a dagger. Here, I'll prove it: † There you go. Also, I've memorized 73 digits of pi; do I have to start over with tau? (No, I cannot just double 73 digits in my head; SOME ARE GREATER THAN FIVE)

I totally didn't just copy and paste Celine's pi...
