You read this
You read this title.
You have clicked into this thread, presumably wondering why it has been bestowed with such a curious title.
You have just finished reading the line above, which was not of much help.
Perhaps you continue reading, in hope that you find a reason. Patience is a rare trait in the world of endless distractions that is the internet today. You might have had patience to wait for two 15-second ads to play on the television years ago, but now you might rage at the presence of a five second wait before a video.
You may not realize it, but you are debating in your subconsciousness whether to leave this strange thread and stop wasting your screen time on usless words.
Look, someone left already. Not everyone has the time to read through this monolouge.
But the text is under the writer's control. You are under the influence of the text, like you are under the influence of your device. The writer can easily drag your attention back with simple tricks,
for
instance,
by
utillizing
this
long
line
of
words
and
your
natural
curiosity
to
force
you
to
continue
reading.
Now,
some
might
realize
they
can
scroll
down
quickly
to
read
through
this.
But
the
writer
has
another
trick.
Aslongasthewordsarejumbledtogetherwithoutspaces, thereaderisforcedtoslowdownandreadcarefullyforfearofmissinginfromation. Tryreadingthroughthiswithoutoverlookingawordandseehowlongittakesyoutofinish. Perhapsyoucouldchallengeyoufriendtoareadingcompetitionwhereallthewordsaresquashedtogetherlikethis.
You might have read through that, but the writer is not to be outdone. BY Changing the font size one can achiVE VARiouS StaGes OF CHaos, Or perhaps -'[by'..,addin.;[]g ran$)dom @Symbols*))#.
But tricks get old and worn out eventually, like socks. And readers have ideas of their own to simplify things. Perhaps you enlarged your screen. Or changed the font size.
But.
It does not matter.
Because once you entered this world of words, the writer has won. The writer has won from the start.
Now, let us pause and look back at this interaction. Do you still remember why you came here?
And, most importantly, where has your precious, precious time gone?

Heylo! Nice to see you ;) and this was actually a good read! I enjoyed it :)

Wow, this was fun and interesting to read. And besides, right now, I don't care where the time goes, because I do not want to edit the rough draft of my essay for Core, because that is boring and I don't care about it. So thank you for giving me something interesting to do that actually captures my attention instead of boring me (this place is good at that) :)

Aw, thanks for all the unexpected feedback! I love you all so much <3 This was just a weird flash of inspiration that I thought was too nonsensical to go wasted, so I just popped on here and made this without any planning. Apparently my dusty pen decided that it's supposed to be conveying some type of irony on electronics and internet addiction.
(I really hoped I could be more active this winter holiday but it seems that this isn't going to be the case... I haven't sat down and written anything serious in AGES, mostly owing to the fact that high school is hard and needs me to sacrifice my entire mental output for the sake of keeping up in math(and physics and chemistry and biology) class. That leaves me zero time to keep working on any of my writing projects and it sucks, but I'll do my best to pop on every once in a while :)

Definitely too nonsensical to be wasted! Aww, no time to write? That's really difficult :/ I'll be glad to see you around whenever you can find the time! Love you too (/p)
