It's my second CBversary today, as of about fourteen minutes ago :D I think last year I totally ignored my CBversary but I wanted to celebrate at least a little this year. I don't have enough time or motivation to do another written picturings or RP or anything, so what about a q&a? Ask me anything!
on a separate note, y'all are awesome and I'm so glad my younger self stumbled upon this community. I think it's amazing how open everyone is to learning new things and how respectful people can be with unfamiliar identities and concepts. love you all <3 (plus ski lodges are great :D) and thank you to the Admins as well for making this all possible!

OBVIOUSLY BLUE, but kind of a grayish slate blue that's pretty mellow...

Yayy happy CBversary Hex! You've always been an incredibly fun, inventive, wonderful person - when I joined the CB, you always seemed like the "classic" CBer, amazing, witty, unique... So glad you're here, and hope you'll be around for many more CBversaries *offers you snack/cake/both of your choice*

no worries! It's not a big deal :) I mostly listen to indie/rock stuff, but some chill pop too if I want calmer music. I like Good Kid, Paramore, The Strokes, and half-alive a lot, with some other random stuff mixed in. For pop there's a whole range of stuff I'd listen to. It's pretty hard for me to classify whatever I listen to into genres though so this might be totally off haha
and as for city, that's hard! I guess maybe something architecturally amazing—maybe Petra? I want to see Oxford as well. Or go back to Japan somewhere :) (the food is so good~) I'm not crazy about super urban environments, though

favorite food is a really hard one lol I usually just go with pie because it's a simple answer but then y'all have cool (and delicious) answers so maybe I'll go with something like gyoza (idea courtesy of pangolin) or dango

HAPPY CBVERSARY MATE! Been an honor to serve with you in the Zoodle Military as well as just hang out in the CB! You're such a fun and funny person to have around. I feel like there's very few people who match me in silliness but you're definitely one of them. :D here's to another great year of CBing!

Ackk so sorry I just saw this!! Happy (late) CBversary Hex!!! 2 years!! Yay!! :D You're a really amazing and clever and witty and random (in the best way!) person, and I'm so glad you're on here! You (along with I think LotS) first introduced me to (the?) Discworld and convinced me to try it out... oh my I love it so much thank you!!! I absolutely love talking about Priory (well, Priory amongst other things) with you, and your dad jokes/puns/word-nerd things are always a highlight (I literally have a draft in my email labeled "Hex's Best" where I keep all your jokes and puns)! And for whatever good it does, my dad (who, as I've already said, is kinda like a dad-joke-pun-loving super nerd) loves them too!! :DD
um anyways. For questions... do you have a preference between "among" and "amongst"? What do you think the difference is if there is one? And what's your favorite Discworld/Terry Pratchett book?

chill, I'm late in responding too so it cancels out lol and :0 "Hex's Best" XD I'm very flattered
the grammar nerd part of me says AMONG because I think it makes no sense to add on a prefix/suffix to a words (wouldn't it be cool if the world prefix was actually just pre and the word suffix was just fix) without changing the meaning is hopelessly pointless and annoying and irredundant (not a word but it might as well be with all the other ones there are hmph) but the other pat of me who thinks AMONGST sounds cooler would vote for that one. to me, AMONG suggests being in the middle of but somehow separate from, but AMONGST is like totally mixed in with idk
favorite Terry Pratchett is hard. I honestly haven't read very many (I find them too ridiculous to read more than one in a row lol) but I really loved all the Tiffany Aching ones. I also enjoyed Good Omens, if co-authorship counts
