Heeeeyyy there everyone! Just popping back on here briefly after my nearly entire-semester long hiatus. How have things been going? How are the christmas preparations (or is it Dhristmas already over where you are)? What are your thoughts on 2023? And does anyone still remember me?
For me, this last half year has been been a fairly chaotic and tough semester of high school, and to be truthful, it wasn't what I expected it to be, with nine classes worth of homework bombarding my schedule every single day of the week, especially math and chemistry (Functions are still my eternal nightmare). I...had a couple of breakdowns, especially when I found out that I couldn't stick to my daily word count of my novel without pulling my grades down.
But hey! It's Christmas time, what am I talking about. What I did accomplish was 1.having a debate for the first time (Our team lost, but whatever), 2. getting someone intrested enough to listen to my novel's plotline, which is actually taking a better shape than I expected it to, 3. acting as Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream (with my dear friend: stage fright)and 4. finding out that I actually like geography better than biology, which was a surprise for me. So I did get some things done in the end.
But all that was is just me popping in to say that I'm still alive. I do hope to be more active on the winter holidays, which will be coming in a month or so. Could anyone catch me up on the events that have been happening around here?

Sorry! That was an accident. I was trying to post something about Christmas from my Nintendo 3Ds, but I accidentially included a screenshot I took from a videogame called Tomodachi Life. Don't worry--the apartment number wasn't real. Whoops!

Hey Zealtom! Merry Christmas! It's good to see you again. It's been sort of quiet, but we've had some parties, and there's some RPs up on Kyngdom that are active. There's a few new ski lodges, too. We've also had some new CBers I'm not sure you got to meet, like Celine and WildWolf. Scuttles was also back recently; I'm not sure if they're still here but I definitely saw them just a little while ago.

Like Periwinkle said, aside from the usual miscellaneous chaos/fun, mainly we've just had a few parties, gotten an unprecedented(?) wave of new CBers, and kept Kyngdom going. Not that much to report!
Whoa, your school year sounds interesting - especially acting! I've always wanted to act in a play, but never gotten the chance :( If you need help with school stuff, I'd be willing to try and help you understand anything you're having trouble with - hopefully I won't just confuse you more /jk There's also a really good website called Math Is Fun (@admins, is it okay to mention it? It's just explanations of mathematics) which explains most mathematical subjects in super-clear ways. I've used it a lot of times and it's usually really helpful.
Outside of the CB, I've been writing a lot, mainly romcoms (because I really want to write fun, sweet romances that are innocent! and that don't use inappropriate language!) I had a really nice Christmas, just chilling and spending time with family :) The whole neighborhood is packed with Christmas decorations, and I keep seeing all these front yards with enormous groups of snowmen and reindeer and colored lights :) so yeah, it was a nice ending to a nice year! How was your Christmas (if you celebrate?)

Zeal!!!! Of course I remember you! I'm so glad to see you back, I kept missing seeing you around the CB <3
Now that I've gotten past my first exclamations, Merry Christmas to you too! Alas, I took a long time responding to this, and my Christmas is over by now. Christmas preparations consisted of shutting myself into my room and saying "Nooooo go away" whenever anyone entered for about a week ;) My thoughts on 2023... For the most part, I enjoyed it. There were several things that I'd wanted to do that I finally managed; I spent half my time in libraries (that's a very normal occurrence for me, though); and I celebrated my first CBversary, which is something that meant a lot to me :) I'm so, so glad the CB has been a part of this year. You guys are amazing :D
Also, I managed to write a lot, which is another success. I think my poetry really improved over this year - the CB inspired me to try different styles which I now love, which is just another thing I'm grateful to y'all for. School had good points and bad points, as always... good luck with functions, Zeal *sends a virtual wizard who will deal with all functions*
Ooh I always think debating sounds like fun, though I've never done it. You acted in A Midsummer Night's Dream?!? You're so lucky (at least in my opinion), I love acting <33 Stage fright can be... something of a problem, but I'm sure you did wonderfully :)
Yay yes I hope you can find the time to be more active! I agree with everyone else's verdict, not that much has been happening - over Christmas everything got very quiet. There was a White Elephant game in TM, and a couple of MaFs... general CB happenings, nothing extremely life-changing.
And somehow this has turned into a long reflection on 2023 and Life and Functions and things... I'm so glad to see you again, and I hope you can stick around for a while!!
