~Hawkstar~

I hurry up to the front door of Peri's house and ring the doorbell. My breath comes out in clouds as I wait, holding the box of rolls. I glanced at the sky, which was gray, and, hopefully, heavy with snow. 

The door opens to admit me, Peri smiling and welcoming me in. "Hi!" I greet her. "Welcome!" she replies, and closes the door behind me. "I hope this doesn't sound strange," I said, beaming at her, "but... can I give you a hug?"

Hawkstar is at the door. "Hi!" She says.

"Welcome!" I grin.

"I hope this doesn't sound strange, but… can I give you a hug?" She smiles.

"Of course!" I say, and we hug. "It's so good to see you, Hawkstar!"

I let Hawkstar come into the house. "If you want to take your shoes off, you can just leave them by the door! But you don't have to take them off if you don't want to." I see Celine lingering nervously by the door and wave. "Hi, Celine! Come on in!"

Oriole

I feel wildly excited as Poinsettia and I walk up to the door of Periwinkle's house. There are a few people already hanging around. We pass a girl with an adorable dog - I think she's CelineBurningBright - and Poinsettia stops to say hi. The door is open, and I can hear piano music coming out. It's all really festive.

P I head inside, relaxing as soon as the warmth of the house hits me. Winter's nice and all, but it sure is nice to be out of the cold. There aren't many people, but I do see a couple of AEs and wonder if I could start a conversation with one.

@Peri, sure, that sounds great! I think of the two, maybe Indy would be best? but Oriole can talk to Quinn, or both of them, if you prefer :)

I hug Peri, and she says that I could remove my shoes in here if I wanted, but no pressure. I happily take off my boots, then notice just as I was going to go into the kitchen to put down my box that Celine had come in. I drop all ideas of going anywhere and rush over to her. "Celine!" I cry, feeling as though we were pen pals meeting for the first time. "Ack, it's so nice to see you!!" I bundle her up into a warm hug.

@Celine, hope you don't mind! I'm in a very hug-giving mood. And I just replied today on the group chat (now StarFlame Chat!!) but no pressure on responding ofc!

(Btw he’s like 40 minutes late; that could be a thing for Callum to go off of? :D)

The instant I throw the door open, things start to go wrong. The door slams into the wall on the other side, making me yelp and throw my hands over my ears; throwing my hands over my ears knocks my cat-ear noise cancelling headphones off; the sudden barrage of noise swirls around my head like the blizzard that’s sadly not present outside. All in all, it’s a full ten seconds until I realize people are staring.

Even as my eyes struggle to focus, I can make out several faces turned to look at me. There’s so much noise. I can’t make anything out, and my head spins.

Then it clicks. I have everyone’s attention. Everyone in the whole room. Straightening, I grin. “Hello, humans and felines and other - is that a dog barking? Who brought a dog?! Can I see them? Oh - and I brought cookies! I spent way too long decorating - er - darn it. Uh - I… come in peace? I rest in peace? You’ll be resting in terror when I’m through with you?” 

So much for pretending to be an alien.

I have no idea what I just said, but then again I never do. And surely I can’t have ruined my life even further than it already was. I kneel down and feel on the ground for my headphones.

I smile, looking up at the clear blue sky, though it's cold. I walk to the front of Peri's house, balancing a tray of cookies in my arms. Behind me are my AEs Lyra, Aries, and Astra, who is carrying our CAPTCHA Twilight.

I wait for the guest in front of me to enter before going over. "Hi, Peri!" I greet her. "I hope it's okay that I brought three AEs."

"*We're all necessary,*" Astra says, despite my side-eye. "*I hope you have room on the counter though, for a hot cocoa bar!*"

"-Because we basically brought in a whole hot cocoa bar,-" Lyra says. "-So...-"

We eventually go in, and luckily, there is actually room on the counter to put down everything. I then make my way over to the rest of the CBers, who are happily chatting away.

"Hi everyone!" I say. 

*Periwinkle*

More and more guests start arriving, and I greet them all. "You can leave your shoes by the door if you want to! And snacks go in the kicthen, please."  

Poinsettia's AE Oriole arrives, and I approach her after greeting the other guests. "Hello there! Oriole, right? Poinsettia wanted you to meet my AE Indigo. She goes by Indy. I think she's in the living room, if you want to meet her?"

Callum

Peri is too busy talking to other guests to notice someone I recognize as Toad because I read the forms. The door slams into the wall and I wince. It seems Toad dislikes the noise, as well, and becomes so flustered he knocks his headphones to the ground. He says something, but I don't hear him. 

I sigh a little, but feel bad watching him attempt to find his headphones and approach him. "I'm Callum," I say as gently as I can - I'd rather not startle him - and pick up the headphones. "I assume these are yours?" I ask, handing them to him.
