Hi, I was thinking about how I wonder if I know any CBers in real life. Maybe we could have a way to find out if people you know are CBers. There could be some kind of code, or something you wear. I can't think of anything that would work to well. Does anyone have any ideas?

I know it's kind of silly, but I like imagining meeting CBers irl too! I trust you all, but I'm going to be vague bc this is still the internet :)

Location: U.S.A.
School mascot/homeschooled/past mascots:
IRL personality: Quiet, observant, bookwormish, ect.
IRL appearance: Nothing special :) Shoulder-length blonde hair, large greenish-bluish eyes, glasses.
Activities: Band, no sports

Location (however vague, you could even just say "Earth", unless... someone's from Mars...?): Orange County, California
School mascot/homeschooled/past mascots: I'm homeschooled, but we do have the mascot of a dolphin named Schroeder. He likes playing music.
IRL personality: Mostly introverted, I can go on and on about the same topic, If you hear anyone obsessing with Poland and Chopin that's me :) My official Myers-Briggs personality is INTJ-T (turbulent architect).
IRL appearance: Short hair that is KIND OF messy. I also wear a headcovering called a kippah. My normal kippah is blue with a million designs on it. Sometimes I may wear two kippot, one on top of the other! I have a birthmark dot on the middle of the back of my right hand, and I wear blue and green glasses.
Activities? (e.g. teams, companies, scouts..): I take piano lessons, but it's one on one so that doesn't really matter... other than that, none.
IRL first name (first name is fine, last name is what makes it personal information): Aviv
How about, as a Chatterbox sign, we take a flat hand with fingers together and touch our thumb to the space between our middle and ring finger, three times, to symbolize both Cricket and the Chatterbox?

Oh yeah! I like doing names. Of course, it can only be first names... last names feel like giving away your adress or smth. My name, for instance, is Wren. But you most likely won't hear any athorities call me that... they'll just call me a name that I'm reeaaall uncomfortable with and I'm not gonna share (it sorta sounds simillar tho... more feminine, but simillar)
Anyways, that's all. Names are fun.

IRL appearance: Thick brown hair usually worn in two of those french braid pigtail thingies because when it's down it looks awful, white, green eyes, usually wearing earrings-- either my blue butterflies, my gold butterfly swarm, my acorns, or my dragonflies.
Activities? (e.g. teams, companies, scouts..): martial arts, girl scouts, yag, tennis, musical theatre
I love the idea of CB jewelery to recognize each other by- I'd love to do a choker because it's easily visible

The only CBer I know im real life is my cousin, Ripley_Wren, who hasn't talked to me since two weeks ago.
I made kind of a logo for the CB, and it says "Cricket Chatterbox: Read. Inspire. CREATE" and maybe if we made custom t-shirts with that on it?
Also, completely unrealated, my CAPTCHA is mostly brown with one grey letter...

School mascot/homeschooled/past mascots: I'm homeschooled, but when I was in kindergarten, the mascot was a bulldog.
IRL personality: I'm quiet but friendly. I try to smile at random people sometimes because I know a little smile can go a long way. I usually socialize with introverts, and most extroverts intimidate me. I'm very polite. I have a twin brother, and when I'm with said brother, we goof around a lot. I'm an INFP-T/INFJ-T. I'm 90% introverted, XD :D if you like reading and start talking to me about tv shows and books and video games i'll be more friendly--
IRL appearance: I just recently cut my long blonde hair, so now it's short and straight blonde hair. I wear a bunch of bracelets and usually wear t-shirts and shorts. I have a pair of blue glasses and a pair of pink ones. I have greyish blueish eyes and I have really long eyelashes and thick eyebrows (they don't look like hairy caterpillars anymore though :D). I have a kind of round face. I have braces, too. Right now, my nails are polished in black >:D i'm such a baddie, wow (lol i'm literally the antonym of a baddie, though i kind of want to be emo-ish). also, i'm straight and use she/her pronouns. i'm kind of shortish, kind of average? i don't really know, haha--
Activities? (e.g. teams, companies, scouts..): i go to my parish for religious education, i'm part of a homeschool group that starts with an H, and i'm part of this father daughter thing. my mom is leading our church's middle school youth group. other than that, not much.

Just randomly, I think you could say that and if ppl know then yay and if they don't you could either tell them why you said it, say, oh, cuz I thought I did (and anyways that's totally a question I'd ask anyways), or something else and it'd be fine :)

I like the crickets chirping question, actually, because we can say it when there is an awkward silence too! Then you make a joke, break the silence, and find out if people are CBers!
