orientation's today, actually, but we don't start until september seventh.

I started yesterday! It was just orientation though, so classes start today. 

I'm super excited about getting my computer, but less excited about the homework :(

I started school two days ago, and i'm seeing a LOT of people from my elementary school i thought i'd never see again... we have to take the 4 core classes, then health, band, engineering, and a language.

ooh engineering, that's so cool!! what's it like so far?

i'll be taking the four core classes (specifically, ninth grade english, pre ap world history, chemistry, and geometry), writing process (which i'm excited for), japanese, art, and phys ed/health. clubs are required, but i haven't decided what i'll join yet. probably something related to writing, plus some sort of sport.

so far we built a shape out of 8 legos. i know a lot of people in real life who would love engineering class but I... am not into it.

Also, you're doing chemistry already? That's cool! In my high school we do chemistry in grade 10. Writing process sounds sooo fun too! Japanese class was also my pick for language, but it's been a bit disappointing so far since i've been studying for longer/more than my fellow 9th graders who started in grade 6.  I might talk to my teacher about moving up soon

Yes I'm in 7th grade and also am supposed to be in 6th grade but I skipped 1st grade so I'm not in 7th grade but
