An Open Letter to the CB regarding the I see you clicked (throwing) threads
Dear all CBers,
Darkvine started the grass throwing thread with good intentions: so that everyone could have fun, and so that CaC could be a little more chaotic than it was before.
Soon, I got slightly bored with the grass throwing, and I figured others were after posting once. So, I decided to give CaC even more of an opportunity to be chaotic.
Enter: the dirt, paper, wood, leaf, aloe, math, clay, water, strawberry, blueberry, banana, and hay throwing threads.
I started with the dirt. It didn't show up at first, so I tried a bunch of other ones. Yes, I know I have gone overboard with 12 different throwing threads, but I wanted people to have fun. With something besides grass.
I now realize I was going overboard. I'm sorry for all of this.
But we need to learn from this.
We all need to remember that CBers are real people. When new CBers come in, it takes a few days for me to get adjusted to them being a real person. Random postings, like the quenn elizabeth and the Kinka the Kinkajou (yes, I was there a while ago) don't seem like real people until they become part of the CB.
So it goes with posting under different names.
When I started all of those threads, people started treating those throwers like they weren't human. I personally regarded the grass thrower as a kind of CB deity (until I learned Darkvine posted under that name). Darkvine quickly revealed her identity. But when we post under different names, sometimes we don't do it as quickly.
Yes, I know I was absolutely crazy and stupid.
Yes, I know I annoyed a lot of people.
But we need to remember that people posting on the CB are real people, which can be verified via the CAPTCHA.
I felt really bad (i.e. I could have posted "TvT") when everyone started calling me "whoever 'you' is" and "the same person". Yes, I know I am stupid since they didn't know my identity, but we all need to remember this.
Thank you.

Aw, Sine, I'm sorry you felt like this :/ All those threads were quite impressive, and I loved your creativity with the things you chose to throw. (I mean, math symbols? bananas? :D ) And I agree, your point is important to remember.
