Alright, so I
Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
Alright, so I
Alright, so I got bored and decided to make a quizy-ish
type thingy. *remebers the past non-dying quiz fad*
*hurries to defend herself* It's not really an actual quiz. I
just have no better word for it. And, plus, it looks like CaC
needs a new thread, so... Anyway, this is how it works. I
give you a list of words and you type down the first word
that comes to mind that rhymes with that word. Like dog
and hog, just I'll make them a bit more complex than that. ;)
So, shall we try it?
Word List:
1. Strange
2. Astound
3. Cupcake

1. Strange. Range.
2. Astound. Around and sound came to mind at the same time...
3. Cupcake. Um... up cake? That's 2 words... Can I use bake? Up-side-down cake? I hadn't looked at anybuggy's answers (then they'd be what I thought of 1st no matter what - If my answers resemble anybuggy else's, it's pure coincidence), so if they hold the clue to rhyming it, I wouldn't know it...
4. Reflection. I don't know any. Does perfection count?
5. Liar. Fire.
6. Lace. Vase and case.
7. French. Wrench.
8. Quilt. Guilt.
9. Critter. Fritter? Is that in the dictionary? *looks it up* Yes, but not the food. Apparently, it means shatter, or shard... Interesting.
10. Aisle. Isle. If that doesn't count... Okay, I don't like the word, but the 1st thing to my head was bile. [How about smile? Admin]

Leavetake? I don't know, but I have heard of it before.
It doesn't matter. Anything that comes to your mind
first counts. :)

According to my online dictionary website thing (not my website, just 1 that I use often), leavetake is not a word, but leavetaking is. I guess the words that mean to be leavetaking would be 'take leave'... I think so, anyway...
