Hello, Firefly. Welcome to the CB!! 

I am Jwyn, she/her, and I also identify as a wordy book nerd! I enjoy reading, drawing, and writing poetry, as well as fiber art crafts such as knitting, crocheting, and needle felting. School is putting most of these on hold for me right now, though. :(

What are your favorite book genres? I'm an avid fantasy and sci-fi reader, but I really enjoy mystery and historical fiction when I can get it.

Hey Jwyn! Pleasure to meet you! I love fantasy and feel good books, although I've read a good mystery book recently, ever heard of When You Reach Me? It's a great mystery(ish)! Thank you for the Ultimate Guide! I love to knit and crochet as well, but I personally find knitting quite a bit easier LOL

That's very interesting, because I find crochet is easier for me. What do you like to knit?

I agree! It's a wonderful book. I recently had been working on a pair of fingerless gloves (I really need to get back to that project...) and a couple scarves LOL I've wanted to knit a pretty difficult little plushie, but I haven't yet LOL What do you crochet and/or knit?

Hello, Firefly! I'm Writing_in_the_Dark, AKA Writing, because my name is overly long but I've gotten too connected to it to change it! My pronouns are both they/them/theirs and xe/xem/xyrs, and I'm probably most known for hosting the MCUs bi-monthly, which you can find on the This Month section. I love books too, mostly Rick Riordan, my favorite series of his being Magnus Chase And The Gods Of Asgard.

Hey Firefly!

I'm Tsuki, she/her, and I've been here for maybe half a year? (Wow--) I love books too; my favorite series is probably Wings of Fire. D&D sounds like the most amazing game ever to exist, but sadly I've never played it, even though I strongly want to.... after we take our end-of-year tests this year, my friends are making a Nerd Club and it's gonna be AMAZING: Eduardo (not his real name; a goofy nickname) is gonna teach me D&D and there's Rubik's cubes and fun and nerds and... yeah... I'm blabbing now.
Do you like languages?  I'm learning Japanese and it's the most amazing, fascinating, most interesting thing EVER... I feel like CBers are likely to love languages since, of course, most of us already love English!
There's a CBer Census in This Month, by the way, if you wanted to check it out.  Oh, and if you have any questions at all about the CB please do @ me on this thread!  I come every day and I love helping:D

Hey Tsuki! D&D is awesome, I hope you can learn! I LOVE languages! I'm learning Spanish but I also love to look up the etymology of different words! I would love to check out that CBer Census, I will try to find it!

Hiya Firefly!

I'm Jaybells, xe/xyr/xem, and we sound really similar! I also love reading and fantasy, along with role-playing in stuff like D&D! Great stuff! Also poetry and drawing? Girl yess!!!

I also tend to be pretty physically active and explorative, at least partially to find stuff to write about, haha. Reading/writing, art and/or music is a pretty huge part of my life. You could even say I am pretty over-imaginitive...

Well anyway, hope to see you around, mate; you seem like a delightful person already! :)

Hey Jaybells! Wow, we do sound quite similar! I love music as well, and it surrounds me everywhere I go LOL I am definitely over imaginative and sometimes get in a little too deep... lol If you don't mind me asking (since I am a complete d&d and role playing nerd) what's your character you play?

Lol that's amazing!

I usually play OCs (kinda obvious, I suppose) and we literally have stacks of blank character sheets for DND (we actually have a bunch of laminated ones w/ dry-erase markers so we don't have to waste so much paper). Gotta tear 'em up when they die, after all... TAT. (I used to hate that idea, but it becomes sorta cathartic after a while). So I am currently playing with my father, his sister and her husband, and my stepmother in which I play an OP elf-child(fae/faer(s) pronouns) named Lithuïa and a nameless bedazzled rogue dude who's lowkey the 'evilest' sometimes(I like to do multiple sometimes to spice things up~). How refreshing? :)

Sometimes I also write stories, and to get into the characters minds I unofficially roleplay as them, which can at times become emotionally draining after a while, haha.

Anyway, what about you, if ya' don't mind? 

Also, you too seem quite 'fantabulous!' XD

That's awesome! I once laminated one of my characters sheets, but it's smart having a bunch like that! Thankfully I have never had to tear a character sheet, but I could see why it would feel cathartic. Your characters sound AMAZING by the way. I have quite a few characters, but the one I am currently playing is a Fire Genasi Bard named Onyx, and in a previous game I played a tiefling Rogue named Lilith, I tend to play flamboyant characters LOL  Maybe someday I will post some drawing of them....(your Rogue sounds wonderful by the way)

I might now need to try writing stories for my characters, it sounds like a good trick, even if it's emotionally draining LOL

And yes! I LOVED When You Reach Me! I loved how it played on common time travel tropes! And the mystery was FANTASTIC!

I like your name.
I joined last year. I like to draw (traditionally and digitally),I like
to read fantasy books ( like Wings of fire, Nevermoor and Keeper of the
lost cites),
I really like Japanese culture and style ( i like anime and manga to,
just to name a few, My hero academia, demon slayer, promised never land
and cells at work), I also really like wolves and big cats ( i have two
cats. They are adorable) and i also like to do Fantasy RPs (Role plays).
I hope we can be good Cricket friends.
If you join a role play you'll probably see me on there as Reuby ( or one of my OC's).
