Yeah, I know, I said I’d post this “later” yesterday, but I didn’t have time, so here it is TODAY :D

Anyway, A PARTY! Cuz it was my CBversary, and also cuz I wanna have a party. This isn’t fancy, so don’t feel the need to digitally dress-up (but you can if you’d like). It’ll be at my (CB) house, so let me set a few ground rules.

- Bedrooms are off limits :)

- PLEASE stay out of the woods, unless you want to be traumatized for life and even after that-

-Keep destruction to a minimum, please. I live here and don’t like cleaning

Writing--
I'm terrible at hosting parties. Good enough, but not great. And it's not like I'm getting much help.
The CAPTCHAs are pretending to be DJs. I really should have just chosen the music myself. Instead, they're playing some twisted combination of "Runaway" by AURORA, "Prom Queen" by Beach Bunny, AND “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”. Yup, at the same time. I don’t know how.
Aliza is laying out various blankets on the grass, making the yard look like a patchwork quilt. But mostly she's complaining about our productivity on other stuff. "You should be at school right now!" She tells me.
Whatever, I have a horrible conscience.
At least Dawn is helping a bit. Ae are inside finishing making aer lemonade.
But Tempest is the least helpful. He’s just… chilling on the roof.
"You're gonna have to come down and help us eventually!" I yell up to them as I set out a folding ta
ble in front of the house.
"#No, I won't!#" he yells back. "#I’m helping up here!#"
"How?" Aliza asks. She sets a tablecloth next to me. I pick it up and fold it out.
"#I’m gonna tell you when I see people start coming,#"
"Wow. So helpful." I say sarcastically.
Dawn comes out of the house and sets down the lemonade. ">If you don't come down, I might not let you have lemonade.<"
"#Might,#" Tempest points out, yet still shifting wings and flying down. "#Your lemonade's good, though, so I won't argue.#"
Aliza coughed something that sounded like “For once,” I laughed, and Tempest scowled at me.
“Alright,” I asked Aliza, “Can you go get some plates and cups from inside?” She nodded reluctantly and headed into the house.
Tempest flew back up onto the roof (Dawn and I didn’t complain), and in a few minutes we finished setting things out. It was warm, though, so we decided to get out a tent and put it on the yard.
As me and Dawn were finishing that, Tempest yelled down to us, “#Hey! Look!”
I glanced up at him, and they were pointing toward the driveway (even though we don’t have a car… don’t question it). I looked over.
The guests had started to arrive.

"Happy CBVersary Writing!"  I say.  "I finally made it!  Ran all the way here... Hi, Tempest, Dawn, Aliza. I brought cupcakes..."

Riko actually baked them.  She didn't come, though; none of my AEs did- Lyn because she usually falls into a panic attack at social events, Chaos because that would NOT have been a good idea and Riko had to stay behind to take care of them.  (Much to her and Chaos' displeasure.)

Anyway, there were red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, lemon, and blueberry muffins that pretended to be cupcakes, and allergin-free versions of all of them.

Aw man I'm not the first person here. I'm second, though. Pretty good.

I feel like a mom. In the sense that I have to keep telling Jon and Ellerie to stop fighting. They argued over a SPOON in the car. A SPOON. Come ON.

"K guys we're here. Ellerie, you can go hang out with Tempest but stay OUT of the woods. Jon and Sun... I trust you guys so do whatever you want," I say.

Ellerie groans. I might have to keep an eye on her. She's snuck out of 1... 2... 4 parties before. Because she was told to stay out or away from something that could be dangerous.

"HIIIIII! I brought PIE!" Jon announces our presence. Embarrassing? No. Kinda sorta funny? A little bit. I'm gonna go get a cupcake.
