This is a game, as it says above. Basically, I will choose the first headline, and everyone else has to come up with the article. I will judge first, and then the winner will judge. If you don't understand, I can explain more. Here is the headline

You have to at least write one paragraph. You can write more, but the minimum is one paragraph for the article.

New Variety of Carrot Set to Revolutionise Our Eating Habits
From disgusting and gag-worthy to to delicious explosions on your tastebuds, carrots are exploding as a go-to food for many. In particular, Sage's Vegetable Inc. now brags mouthwatering carrots with finely sculpted tastes in addition to all-new rainbow colors. A feast for the eyes and the tongue—at the same time!
Reports show the new type of carrot is a blend of two other vegetables. Sources refused to say which two when asked, however, so the breed remains mysterious.
However, one thing all experts can agree upon is the delicious new taste of these rainbow tubers. “Extraordinary flavors highlight beautiful colors,” reports Kracker McGlum, a notoriously picky eater. This new brand appeals to all kinds. As the carrot market continues to boom and our diets change, all we can say is keep your tastes healthily rooted—and check back for more updates about Sage’s Vegetable Inc!

OK! Sorry about this being a day late, but it wasn't as hard to decide, seeing as I only had to judge two pieces!
1st Place: Hex
I really liked your piece and I felt that it was more descripitve. It also summarized the headline perfectly!
2nd Place: Red Starlight
I loved this piece, it seemed as if you just made it as you went along, only fixing the spelling mistakes, exactly like I would I do!
Thank you both for participating!

Here's mine:
Dragons Reportedly Seen Across the Atlantic... Have They Awoken at Last?
Two boat captains near the coast of France in the Atlantic have reportedly seen a dragon as described in How to Train your Dragon. Experts say that the reason they're here is because they flew down from space. The story was continued when Chinese wavesurfers visiting the Atlantic Ocean wildlife preserve saw a "zodiacal" dragon and said it was for the Lunar New Year. Experts are taking into consideration every factor of these two dragon sightings, including the sleep level of the viewers over the past 240 hours, the weather around the waves in the ocean, and whether or not they have watched dragon movies way too often. Some experts, however, say that dragons are legends and that every part of the Earth is free of dragons--otherwise we would have seen them by now. The viewers argue that not every part of the Earth has been explored and this might be a new species. If it is a new species, it will become a reptile. All factors will be taken into consideration before the final desicion.

Dragons Reportedly Seen Across the Atlantic... Have They Awoken at Last?
In the last year, the Magical Occurrences Society (MOS) has received a highly abnormal magical sighting increase in quite the peculiar place: The Atlantic Ocean!
"I was on me boat out fishin' for trout, and all of e' sudden, a big blue dragon jumped out of the water and bit a hole in me sail!"
Says a local fisherman, Michael Parker from Wilmington, North Carolina. He and a number of others have consistently been spotting the strange water dragons emerging just off the coast in what are normally fishing grounds. But, why here? And, more importantly, what does it mean?
After a thorough investigation by the MOS, we have discovered that a colony of the rare sesconia dragondesic, a once thought to be extinct dragon, has begun hatching at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean along the North American coastline. The majestic water dragon can be many colors, including blue, green, and sand colored to blend in the water environment. They often are docile, though there are cases of violence among humans. They have firm, bat-like wings and often spurt water from their noses when happy.
We aren't yet sure why the sesconia dragondesics are emerging from the waters, their normal homes life-long, but we hope to find out soon. If you happen to spot a dragon that matches the description above, please report it immediately to your nearest MOS facility.
