Alright, for people who may be confused I think I know what you're doing-- check out the Ultimate Guide to the CB thread for info on this.
Anyway, if you don't mind, I'd like to describe the setting:
To enter the legendary Catch the Cookie Castle area, you go through an iron fence. It is, in fact, taller than the hundred-story castle itself, and even through the thick, persistent fog you can see it from miles away.
The gate is decorated with goblins and gargoyles, each holding a cookie, that stare at you with glowing eyes. Once you enter... you never exit.
Despite this, some brave CBers have entered the area in the hopes they can catch the mystical Cookie. They are met with three miles of thick woods, which contain the following: Oak trees, pine trees, dandelions, grass, raspberries, bramble patches, robins, owls, squirrels, spiders, strawberries, basil, mice, foxes, and Cookie Guardians. It is possible to tame a Cookie Guardian, a stony gargoylesque flying creature, and have it help you aquire the Cookie. There is a long river that goes from where the Woods meet the Fields to out of the fence, and it faces east.
Once the CBers get past the thick woods, they are greeted with a mile of sprawling fields, covered in grass, flowers, sheep, horses, and cattle. The sun scorches one's skin, and dehydrates quickly.
Finally, you reach the large courtyard of the Castle. There are gardens and animals scattered around. A single cherry blossom tree stands in a patch of white rocks. There is a long path of marble, engraved with the legendary chocolate chip design of the Cookie, that leads to the forboding entrance of the Castle. It faces north.
There are exactly one hundred floors in the Castle and exactly ten rooms on each floor. Three bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom, and four other rooms that vary in content on each floor. Each room has precisely three windows. There are two stone staircases on either side of the castle. There is one rickety bucket attached to a rope attached to the nine hundred ninety ninth floor that works as a pulley sistem rather than taking the stairs, but it looks quite unsafe.
At the tippety-top of the Castle, the very highest floor, there is only one room. One giant room. One practically empty room, chinaware in a closet on one side seven long, jewel-encrusted swords on the other. The stairs do not reach this floor. In the center, on a tiny, humble platter, lays the Cookie.
That was hilarious to write! Anyways! I thought it would be a good idea to fill out a quick form...

*eye twitches* Alright, I'm sorry, Tsuki. I'mma try to put this nicely, but this isn't how Catch the Cookie works. Plus, you just basicly took over Moonshine's thread.
So, a Catch The Cookie game is extreamly simple. There are no forms, nor a distinct setting. The point of the game is to do what you want. You've made this way too complicated and taken over another CBer's thread.
The basics of Catch the Cookie is thus: There is a cookie. You must catch the cookie. No one may destroy the cookie. Whoever has the cookie when the thread "dies" is the winner.
Again, I'm sorry if this comes off as rude or even mean. But I just felt the need to say this. You might not have realised what you did.

Writing_in_the_Dark right, this isn't how Catch the Cookie traditionally works, but something new can be fun too. This version of Catch the Cookie, while different, does seem rather fun. I don't believe it's too complicated, though this would be more like an RP than the original game.
However, it is true that you did kind of take over moonshine's thread. I know I did join, but I think on this thread we should just play the traditional way, as per moonshine's request. If you created a new thread elsewhere, I would be more than happy to join.

I am pretty sure that catch the cookie is just people writing about how the caught the cookie. I was only in one of these threads, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it might look like this, but with more details:
Person1: I run out into the center of the field. The cookie is in sight. I simply grab it.
Person2: I send a cloud of jelly beans at Person1, and knock the cookie out of their hand. It is finally mine!
Person3: Person2 has no idea that I'm about to steal the cookie. My AE, Spot, distracts Person2, while I sneak up from behind. I am now the owner of the cookie!
Etc.

...what's with all the forms? My understanding of catch the cookie is that it's just a super simple, informal game. I could be wrong but like..?
(November 10, 2021 - 9:02 pm)
Ah. Well, I'm new so I've never played a Catch the Cookie game before. We don't have to use the setting/form thing if people don't want to.
(November 11, 2021 - 11:02 am)
So... actually I think that it's kinda like a Rp almost, you just describe how you steal the cookie from your perspective. ____= person with the cookie's name
Person 1:I grab the cookie.
Person 2: I throw jelly beans at ______. Then, I grab the cookie from their clutches.
Person 3: I have set a booby trap, and _______ trips and falls. THE COOKIEZ IS MINE!!
(Something like that I believe.)
