CBFF Chat Thread.
So far, for me, Writing_In_Dark, and Kitty Cat, and Tsuki the Skywolf!
Yeah, so I made this thread, cause I'm pretty sure we're doingCBFF, but no one has answered me, so I'm doing this now. That way if it is a yes, then I'll know!! And we don't take over a different thread! So, yeah. This is mostly just for us, but if we get other CBFFs, they can join. Maybe. Anyway!! Please post here if we are doing CBFF, Writing_In_Dark, Tsuki the Skywolf, and Kitty Cat!

Do you think I could co-host too?
(November 15, 2021 - 6:00 pm)
Of course! I just didn't want to make you commit to something you didn't want to. I'll add your name when I post it.

WHOA NO WAY TELL THE PIG STORY
(November 16, 2021 - 5:29 pm)
Very well...
My friend was visiting for the summer at her grandmothers, so I went up to see her...only to discover that he grandparents had rescued a baby pig and were raising him for meat! (his name is Arnold.) Being vegan and an animal lover, I was dismayed, and so immedietly began thinking up ways to save him. At last I decided to try and buy the pig from her, and after running it by my friend (who thought it was a great idea), I started planning.
I wouldn't tell my parents until everything had been decided, I thought, so that they couldn't talk me out of it. And so I imagined every possible angle of the problem and all the things I could use to convince the owners. I thought and thought, my plan being to give the pig to an animal sanctuary nearby.
At the next community meeting, I asked Arnold's owner if I could buy him. She said that she'd have to talk with the landowner about it and the next day the whole family voted. It was a close call, but they agreed to let me exhange garden work for the pig! I was extremely excited as all the many strings I'd been holding relaxed.
My parents nearly found out a few times due to carelessness of speech, or the fact that I didn't tell the owners that I hadn't been planning to tell mom and dad, but everything went smoothly and at last I told them. They were surprised but proud!
Now I'm doing the garden work and looking for a place for Arnold. Hopefully the animal sanctuary can take him; if not, I will try to find him a home with a loving family.

I'm not sure how much this will help for story ideas, but here are a ton of prompts:
-Your character has always viewed the past with rose tinted glasses. Write about what happens when they’re finally confronted with the truth.
-Write about a missing person nobody seems to know or remember.
-Start your story with the words “Everything was ready for the ritual.”
-Set your story in a town disconnected from the rest of the world.
-One moment your character is talking on the phone with a friend, and the next, the connection is lost. Write a story about what follows.
-Start your story with the line, “You wanna do something fun?”
-Write about a character whose dreams are portals to other worlds.
-Write about two people whose dreams are somehow connected.
-An intelligent young girl solves a big problem, but becomes frustrated that no one wants to believe her. Write about what she does next.
-Start your story with the line “We have plenty of time,” and/or end it with the line “We were never going to make it.”
-Write about a character on the road — and on the run.
-Your character sits down at their desk on a Monday morning and finds a completely unexpected email in their inbox. Write about what happens next
-Write a story about a character who’s trying to fill an empty space, literally or metaphorically.
-Start or end your story with a house going up in flames.
-Write about a person or object vanishing into thin air.
-Start your story with a character saying, “Are you coming tonight?”
-Write a story about someone who starts noticing the same object or phrase wherever they go.
-Write a story about a character who has a horrible sense of direction and constantly gets lost.
-Write a story about someone who discovers a mysterious object in their home.
-You had the greenest grass around. No one's could be greener. Right...?
-Make the absurd absolutely and completely normal.
-“Now that’s something you definitely shouldn’t try at home.”
-A brand new employee is starting their first shift — at their first job ever — in the busiest, biggest store in town, on the busiest day of the year.

1.What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received and how have you used it in your life? You have to learn to live in the now.
2.If you won the lottery and started a business, what business would it be? Hm hm HMM... well my future career- author- isn't a business... ah! I'd start a libraryesque thing!
3.Are you a giver, taker, or matcher? (Do you give stuff, take stuff, or both)uh... not sure
4.How do you best connect with others? Through writing and storytelling.
5.What’s the wildest thing you’ve ever done and would you do it again? I haven't actually done a lot of wild things (I wish I have though)
6.If you could create your own planet, what would you put on it? OH I HAVE DAYDREAMED ABOUT THIS TONS OF TIMES. So. It would be a relatively small planet, and would be made up from planets and meteors with no life and no purpose and have the same minerals and rocks and water and magma and stuff that Earth does. It would have oxygen and be as close to its sun as Earth is to ours. I would be able to transport whatever I liked there, and I'd transport animals and trees and plants that were about to get destroyed there. I'd transport unused houses and buildings there and hire people to fix them up. I'd hire teachers and doctors and therapists to go there, and I'd make it known to the world anyone who wanted to escape poverty or war or anything could go there if they wanted. I'd make it so each person had a home, and no one else could get into said home. I'd be the only one able to transport anyone there, and weapons of mass destruction would not be allowed. There would be no pollution or war or blowing up mountains or murder or deforestation or animal abuse or factory farming on my planet. There would be plenty of food. I'm not sure what the currency would be made of, but there would be no mining or deforestation required to make it, and it would be plentiful. Upon one's first entry to my planet, they would be given a good amount of this currency which would allow them to survive for a good while until they were able to find a job.
7. What are three things you are grateful for? Language, my family, my friends

Here are some fantasy prompts! I am not good at coming up with ideas, so instead i will find prompts:
Pancake, we don't want to repost so many prompts that are other people's work or come from other websites. That would be plagarism. --admin
