October Masquerade!
The letter arrives past midnight, when everyone is asleep. One streetlight flickers as the letter is placed carefully under your door. You don't notice. You're sleeping too. But you'll wake up soon enough and see the evenlope in your kitchen, and, of course, you'll open it:
You are invited to a masquerade! You can wear a costume or not, and, of course, a mask. Not like a COVID-19 mask. The other kind. What's it called? Well, you know what I mean. The kind you'd wear to a masquerade. Thanks, hope to see you there!

So yeah, I'm doing a masquerade! Masquerades are mixes of SIs and CB balls/parties. The party will start on October 7th, you may not make guesses on who people are until then. Here is my form:

What're you wearing to the masquerade: I'm wearing a midnight-black dress with a hemline and white sandals with small black gemstones on them. My hair is in a low-ish bun with braids wrapped around it, and my mask is white with black gemstones as well.
Are you bringing any food?: Well, my manshion has waiters, aka AEs who I made dress up in masks and carry around food trays. You can try to coax them to give them clues as to who I am, but I will not be making their voices like this or this or anything, they'll just talk normally.
The party will take place at my manshion (Midnight Manshion), mostly downstairs but the upstairs is open to visitors too. Anyone can join in during the party, don't worry if you're late. Have fun!

What're you wearing to the masquerade: A black dress, with opal, and amethyst crystals on it. My black, wavy hair with have amethysts in it. My mask will be deep, deep DEEP DARK purple, with two opals, and two amethysts. I'll have a gold and opal necklace.
Are you bringing any food: Taco salad sound ok? The sour cream is optional. And both the taco salad, and the sour cream are homemade.
Anything Else: I'm gonna be talkin' to people ALL THE TIME. Yes, I'm THAT friendly.

What're you wearing to the masquerade: A lilac version of Hermione's Yule ball dress. My dark brown shoulder length hair is wavy, and I have on a gold and lilac tiara. I'm wearing lavender heel, but not tall heels, fairly short ones. Oh and my eyes are brown, with gold and black in them. Oh, and a jeweled lilacs mask, with a little handle thing to hold.
Are your bringing any food or drinks and what are they?: well, I guess I'll bring mini chocolate cupcakes, and mangos. Lots and lots of mangos.

I step through the doors and take a deep breath at the welcome warmth, out of the chilly autumn wind outside. I look around. Am I the first one here? That's a first... With a slight shrug I shake back my hood, making sure my mask is still in place, and set the cookies and fruit down on a handy table.
Making my way over to a cozy chair by the fire, I settle down to wait for the other guests.

I stride through the grand doors into the mansion. Placing the carafe of chocolatl and plate of pizza bagels next to a plate of cookies, I glance around the room, and I discover the only other person who has arrived so far. I aimed for 'fashionably late' but I suppose I am early. I meander over to introduce myself. "The owner of this mansion must be proud of the decorations; they're excellent. I'm Edge, by the way," I say.

I rush down the steps, late to my own party. "Whoops," I say aloud. Where are my AEs? I guess they're late, too. No matter. Nobody's here yet--
Oh. I notice two guests sitting by the fire and hurry over to welcome them.
"Sorry *pant* I'm *gasp* late!" I breathe. Running down a fancy marble staircase will do that to you. "Welcome! I am Nightingale, you must be Mithriel and Edge. I like your dress, Mithriel, and Edge, your mask is very cool. I'm quite sorry I'm late. I hope the journey here was not too troubling?"

"Not too bad. Boring, though," I laugh. "And you must be Nightingale, our host." I bow melodramatically. "I'm glad to meet you. Almost nobody's here yet, which doesn't make the masquerade exciting." I glance toward Mithriel. She looks comfortable, sitting down near the fireplace. I sit in a nearby chair. "What about you? How was your journey?"

What're you wearing to the masquerade: A long, flowy dress covered in jewels and made out of silk, gold earings, iridescent blue high heels, a diamond necklace, and a shimmery green purse
Are your bringing any food or drinks and what are they?: I brought hot chocolate and a chocolate cake.
Anything else: I brought a jar of chocolates for the host as a thank you gift for inviting me.

I stand in front of the mansion hoping I'm not late. I open the doors and walk inside. I place the food I brought on the table and set the hot chocolate next to it. I look around and notice some of the other guests chatting by the fire. I decided to explore around the mansion for a bit and learn my way around. I noticed some extremely beautiful paintings on the walls. I wonder when the other guests arrive, I think as I stroll around the mansion.

Loki's my favorite character too! He's FUNNY and GREAT and can I just say it's hilarious how he talkstoomuch when he's nervous?
I walk into the room and fidget with my hands. I'm a social butterfly, but I'm just as socially awkward. I stand where I am until somebody notices me.

I finished roaming around so I decided to attempt to talk to other people. I'm usually not very social, but I was determined to talk to people. That was when I noticed someone (Whisper) standing apart from the other guests. "Hello! I'm Kina. It's nice to meet you," i said as I reached the person (Whisper).

I pause and look at Edge. "Are you, by any chance, Wildfire? You kind of remind me of them. Not sure why..."
I wait for Edge's response and notice some other guests walking through the door. Oh good, everyone's arriving! I'll go greet them in a second.

"Yes," I whisper. "I am. I'm impressed. I haven't been on CB very long. Only a few days." I grin at Nightingale. "Mind if I stay a while longer? I still want to taste everyone's snacks."

I stride through the doors of the mansion, expecting to be one of the last ones here. suprisingly there are only five or so people so far. I place my cheesecake and coldbrew on a nearby table and stroll over to join Kina and Whisper's conversation. "greetings, fellow CBers. how are you on this fine evening?"
