Hiatus? 

Hey everyone. School started two weeks ago, and I'm feeling very overwhelmed. My ex-friend who left me two years ago for the popular girl is suddenly hanging out with me again and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm already getting lost in math, even though we've barely begun unit 1. I'm having a hard time getting into books and I feel like no literature appeals to me anymore. No one seems to remember me, and keeps asking if I'm new, EVEN THOUGH THIS IS MY FOURTH YEAR HERE *deep breath* Okay, I get that it's hard to recognize everyone with the masks and everything and that I haven't really talked to anyone in at least a year, but am I really that forgettable?!?!? And I want to say something to my crush but I kind of don't because they're literally the only person I'm somewhat friends with and I don't want to ruin our friendship if they don't like me back and asdfghjkl

Sorry about that rant. What I'm trying to say is I need to take a break from the CB. I still might drop in to join contests or whatever from time to time (the photography contest looks really cool), but expect to not hear from me for a while. I'll probably come back late October, if I can sort things out by then.

Aw, bye pangolin! Ugh, you're good to rant, all of that is so relatable, especially about being forgettable... I'm constantly scared that the people I hang out with don't really care about me. (also, this girl at school who goes up to people and says she knows your inner thoughts or whatever said basically that about me, it was kind of freaky...:0)

Yo, no way! That happened with my best friend a couple of times. Now that we're in High school we haven't bothered to reach out, even though we have a few classes together, but since it's always been he distancing herself from me and then coming back, so I give up.

Anyway, sorry to hear about you having a difficult time in maths and losing an interest in literature. Again, I've had similar experience a while back ago also, but I bounced back, so I hope it'll eventually smooth itself out on its own for you. Good luck! Take your time and don't let the stress get to you!
