Pararkeet, YAY!!! :D:D Actually, I'd normally put this in DtE, but CaC needs some new threads... :) Anyway, y'all know how my sweety bird Buddi has been dreadfully lonesome since B.B. died in December?? Well, we never got to adopt Larry Bird (haha, the bird, NOT the basketball player!), because he also died... AND, my friend's parakeet we were going to adopt ALSO died. (eeek, parakeets are dying!) Soooo, today I went to the animal shelter, like I normally do on rainy Saturday afternoons and went into the bird room (which is actually a tiny back room that nobuggy knows about, and you have to have a staff member go with you), because they were supposed to have a cockatoo (it turns out he was at a foster home). The staff member was introducing us to all the cockateils, when we met an adorable parakeet. The bird's paperwork wasn't in the room, so we're not sure about it's exact info, but its cere was pinkish, so it was probably a girl, but it looked really young, so it could be a male. She took Birdy out and let me hold her! My dad and I fell instantly in love with Birdy! :) Anyway, it appears as though we are going to buy her!! SO, can y'all help me?? I'm terrible, as you may see, at naming things. My cat's name is Cat (original, no?). My parakeet's name is Buddi (feminine version of the most common pet name). My old parakeet's name was B.B. (two letters? eh?).
Anyway, can you help give me some cute names for a young, blue and white girl parakeet? Thanks! :D
How about Mimi? (That says cute, blue and white to me.)

Ohhhh, thank you, Admin!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I've always loved that name, but I completely forgot about it when I was trying to think of names!! Ohh, it's so perfect!! :D If I get her, I'm definitely going to name her Mimi! And I'll take a picture to give to you. :) Thanks! :D

Yeah, Mimi is good. Or you could go for something bird-like like Cheeps. Or, this just came randomly into my head, Phleeps. I like that. :D

Well, I'm sorry, Admin. Although my dad and I (and even my brother!) really wanted Mimi, my mom is the one with the most authority, and she said the typical, "we don't need another animal to take care of/can you imagine how much noise three birds would make?/you already have a parakeet" thing, so I guess I'm not going to get her. BUT, I pinky promise that some day, no matter how old I am, I will get a blue and white parakeet, name her (haha, I hope it's a girl!) Mimi, take a picture, and send it to you. :):) Or, I guess I'll just send it Cricket and say it's to the Admin from 2009, hoping you still work for them. :):):) And even if you don't, you can know that somewhere in the world, there's a parakeet named Mimi. <3

Mimi sounds so cute! It's too bad you didn't get to keep her :( :(. If you look on the bright side though, you'll be able to be closer the the bird you already have and be better friends with him! :)
