Girls. Interesting hair

Girls. Interesting hair ideas? I know a lot of you have fairly longish hair, and I was wondering what you do with it. Mine is starting to get pretty long, and I feel like I do the same things with it all the time.

So, share?

Hey, Brynne, I have long hair, too. The best thing to do is go natural. No chemicals, no nothing. If your hair gets wacky in the morning, brush it and smooth it down with water. Oh and what color is it ???? If it is brown, it looks good in side ponytails, and if it is blond it looks good in a loose ponytail and if it is red, it looks good with a bob cut.

TRUST ME. I WORK AT MY MOM'S SALON.

Hey, Brynne, I have another suggestion. Do the braid thing that pplz were talking about before to make your hair curly, then take the top half of your hair, and pull it over your eyes (make sure it doesn't flop back though)
then put a head band on in between the top and bottom half of your hair where the line is then put back the rest of your hair. Note: it will only work if you don't have a part.
The result should look like the top of your head is vaguely puffy

Thanks for the tips, Kiki. Don't worry, I hate chemicals in my hair. I don't even use hairspray if I can help it.

it's brown.

I do find that funny! I want thin straight hair that's blonde!!!!!!!! Sometimes I put in braids, or do two ponytails! Sometimes I just leave it down curly, or straighten it. Sometimes, I pull my bangs to the side. Sometmes I have a messy bun, or just a high ponytail. Or a ponytail on the side of my head. Or sometimes I do my hair in a clip thingy so the top is just showing...(this confusing?) I'm trying to grow my hair longer because I heard that your hair, when longer, is straighter (for some people...) and I think that makes sense because your hair would be heavish and pull your curls out. I'm sure I'll have SOME curls, because I want to get layers! They look so cool! Helpful?

Wait, you're fourteen now? *whistles* Wow!

Anyway. Hair. Mine always grows pretty fast, I dunno why... I like it long anyhows. I usually have it either down or in a ponytail, except for ballet classes, when of course my hair is in a bun, but recently I've been playing around. Some things I've been trying:

1. (Note: My hair is too straight for this to work....) My friend Sara can twist her hair up into a bun and then stick a pencil in it in a strategic place, and it will stay up. Unfortunately, my hair is too slick and straight for it to work.

2. I've got several simple ponytail variations that make big differences, such as,

2a) You have your ponytail, preferably at the base of your neck (it's easier this way, I can assure you) and a bit loose. Then you make a gap in the hair above the scrunchie, and insert the ponytail into it, so that you've got your ponytail looped over the scrunchie and such. I like doing this one for bike rides.

2b) You have a regular ponytail, loop it once around as you would to make a bun, but only once. Then stick in hairpins or a clip to hold it in place.

2c) You have your ponytail, and you braid it. It's really cool and swingy! And better for whacking boys with, too. (When your hair is long enough, you can swing your ponytail around and lash annoying people. :D)

3. I take a small portion of my hair in the front, and braid it with beads on it, and leave the rest down. It's pretty cool, just like anything else I do with it. (joking, kind of.)

That's all I can think of at the moment...... Hope these help!

I just brush mine at least twice a day and let it grow out. When I'm doing sports I put it up in a pony tail. I wish I knew I how to do a braid. If you longish hair, a braid would be pretty (don't ask me to do it though:)) Maybe you could cut it so it would be spiky, and dye it pink? You know, like Tonks.:) I'm only joking. What color hair do you have anyway? Mine is hard to decribe. It's sorta light brown with little streaks of blonde in it, but it kinda has an orangish look to it. Do you know what I mean? In the summer it seems to be more blonde and in the winter more brownish-orangish.

Hmm...looks like a birthday hat. :)

My hair is just your average shade of dark brown. I do know what you mean about your hair colors, one of my friends had hair kind of like that.
