Yep, it's me. I'm back, but for how long I don't really know. (One might point out that I never really left, and they would be correct, but I would tell them to hush and let me give my speech.)
It's my CBversary! I can hardly believe it's been a year since I returned to this wonderful place and got to reconnect with old friends and make a ton of new ones. The coronavirus pandemic was really tough for a lot of people, myself included, and having a place to talk with all sorts of people about everything and anything was really great. I've been really busy recently, back at the community theater where I was performing before the pandemic began. In April we performed "All Shook Up" and this July we're performing "Carrie" (which I would love to tell you more about, but it sure as heck ain't appropriate for the Chatterbox)
It's disgraceful.

Okay. Now's the time of the post where I thank a couple people on here for their kindness and good humor.
Luminescence — I miss you so much! I remember when we used to talk on YWP almost daily and now I haven't heard from you in months. You're so awesome and clever and know how to deal with conflict without making it worse; a skill I wish I had!
Fidelity — I still have the half a stale plane blanket. If I'm lucky I won't need it soon, if you get what I mean. :) I also have the eerily-accurate-to-real-life drawing you made of me. You were one of the very first people I connected with when I returned to the CB. Thank you for making me feel so welcome, and bonding with me over Regina Spektor. (I'm listening to "Braille" right now, so pretty!)
Luna-Starr — you're grogeous. What else can I say? Your ski lodge is flawless in every way. PS1 Hagrid and Meryl Streep are smiling down on you right now, I'm sure, wherever they might be. You're a great friend and co-conspirator. Stay safe and sane at camp.
Sybill — oh, Sybill. There are no words. None at all. But there are images. Have this one, a drawing I made. Three guesses who it's of.

And I do believe that's everything! I'm sure there's someone I've missed— you guys have ALL been so kind and helpful and welcoming throughout this weird and wacky year, and I love you for it. I'll be here for the next couple of days, and hopefully longer if I can find the time. If I can't, know that you guys will always be in my mind and in my heart.

Thank you Starch!! I'll throw this confetti around for hours and hours now. I miss NaNo, but I'm glad that we still have an avenue of communication. I'm gonna stay here for as long as I can, though I do feel sometimes like I'm waaaaay too old for this site. Ah well. :)

Happy CBversery Bakerloo! It's so great to hear your back! You are clearly an awesome person, and the CB is lucky to have some one like you. I like your art too - very bold and bright! I'm not too great at digital art myself, but it is so cool to see what others can do with simply a computer and a stylis (Or whatever tools you really use since I am clearly not well versed in the digital art department). Congrats on performing in a play this summer also! Is it difficult performing plays with Covid precautions? Anyway, Happy CBversery! I hope you have an amazing Chatterboxer-y day! I hope to continue seeing you around the CB!

Muchas gracias, Neverseen! I did my best (read: not my best) on that drawing, and I think that my efforts paid off. My drawings end up scaring me out of my wits most of the time, and this one only takes a day or so off my life whenever I look at it, so I consider it a victory.
I'm so glad to be performing again! The vast majority of the cast of "Carrie" has been fully vaccinated, so rehearsals are currently mask optional, but I think we will be masking up for the performances themselves. The audience size is at one-third capacity last I heard, and the show isn't being as widely marketed as the theater's shows usually are because otherwise they would have to turn people away and they really don't want to do that. Thank you for asking! I love gushing about theater to anyone who'll listen. :)

OH MY GOSHHHHH HAPPY CBVERSARY BAKERLOO-
I know I've said this before but I'll say it again: Orson and Lucinda are genius. They are beautiful and wonderful creations and I am so glad I got to meet them.
When I saw my name in this, I did a double take (or a triple take?). My whole starstruck-emoji-face is back haha-
Honestly, you're one of the most amazing people I've met here. Your writing gives off Lemony Snicket vibes and it never fails to crack me up. Sometimes I forget you're actually five years older than me because talking to you never seems weird or awkward like it would if I was friends with a seventeen year old irl, which is one of the things I love about the CB and loved about YWP (*wipes tear*). Since you are seventeen and I am only twelve, you have and had every right to treat me like a little kid but you didn't, and that is something I sincerely appreciate. Thank you for all the insane three-word-stories and guiding me through my brief stints as Kyngdomer (I'm afraid I've dropped off the face of the earth again) and Person In Charge Of Planning AtV. I'm still shocked that it lasted as long as it did.
I... can't tell you how much your shoutout means to me, especially the part where you say I know how to deal with conflict. That's one of the things I try really hard to be, and it really means a lot that you think that of me.
I miss you so much, too, by the way. You're extremely cool and if this was real life I'd give you a hug, but here's a virtual one instead: *hugs* One of my favorite things about you is that even though you're older than a lot of the rest of us, you've never acted condescending or patronizing towards anyone. Here's the "Cool-Enough-To-Hang-Out-With-Kids-Younger-Than-You" badge (which I also proudly wear. Ten year olds are awesome and whoever says otherwise is wrong). *hands badge*

-I remember AtV! It was a really good idea, and I definitely believe it could have gotten off the ground if Niteskiies hadn't left just as the idea was gaining traction. Looking back, I do regret throwing that "but what about Kyngdom?" tantrum. The world was wide enough. :(

I'm relatively new to the CB, I've been here for *concentrates deeply* I think 2 or 3 months....? So you probably haven't seen me around as much, but I have seen some threads you are on or have created, and your writing style is amazing and you are very witty and funny!
