Okay. I am a relativley new CBer who has gone back into old threads and found CRAZYNESS. But now, we just have things like "Confessions" (that always makes me sad T0T), "Art posting" (still a cool thread, don't get me wrong), lots of SIs and the MCU on this month. Sort of sad, when you look back.
Like there are NO wars, NO world domination, NO just being weird, NO battles of the fandoms! C'mon, CBers! You can do gooder than that!!!!!!

I definitely agree with some of what you’ve said. The CB has become a bit more “normal” than it used to be, a bit less crazy, a bit more down to earth. We don’t have any Masked Piesters or lemmings conquering the earth, and, to be honest, I feel awful that there was a time and place like that in the world and I missed it, and I feel bad about older CBers saying how much they miss it or saying that they don’t think the CB has changed for the better. It’s not their fault, they have the right to be nostalgic if they want and I know they don’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings, but it still does hurt a little. Especially because most of the people who say that they miss how this place used to be have done nothing to change it back. I, for one, am SCARED to start a pie war or start a masquerade for fear that I’d do it wrong or someone would feel that I am messing up the history of something they love, so if you want to bring something back that you remember, PLEASE DO! I’m sure everyone will be grateful for you for sharing your memories and allowing something that was once beloved to return.
There are things I disagree with you about, though, Writing_in_the_Dark. We do have ski lodges still, an abundance of them, some of which are beautiful and brilliant, like Bakerloo’s Secret of Ellingham Manor or wacky and also brilliant, like Luna Starr’s Magicae Palace and it’s sequel, as well as a hundred million others that are just as incredible in their own, unique ways. Nowhere else in the world has something like this, and I’m proud to be a part of it. There was a pie war recently, although I was doing my hiatus-drifting thing back then, so I didn’t participate. The MCU is brilliant, and Floof just released their entire history in nineteen paragraphs. That is special. We have written three word stories about sewing scissors and evil mouse invasions. That is special. There are people with AEs who are constantly at war for dominance and people with world dominating sugar glider CAPTCHAs. THERE ARE AES AND CAPTCHAS. Nowhere else I have ever seen has this. That is special.
And these flights of creativity are not the only things that make the CB not “normal” to me. I have been afraid of online communities because my parents have warned me of their toxicity and the possibility of online bullies. And true, there have been wars and impersonators, and people have gotten hurt and even left. But people have confessed, and they have apologized, and while that doesn’t make what they have done right, it DOES start to repair what it broken, and it DOES make them different from trolls who just hurt people to hurt people. I have never seen that on any other website. The Confessions thread makes me sad too, but when I have confessed something on there, people have responded, giving me advice, telling me that I matter, and that is a cause for joy. There are people here who are artists and writers and actors and lovers of Averno and musical theater and history and the wacky and odd and beautiful. This is something I have never seen, so many people like me and unlike me and wonderful no matter what in one place. The CB means so much to me, and to so many other people. And I promise you, we will never be “normal.” We are fantastic.

Yeah. I get this. Also, I'm new. Like "I just join in January" new. BUT ANYWAY; I just really want to get back some of that crazyness. I also just want to see how you would dominate the world when it's just on the CB. And Topping songs. That's just amazing.
I see where you are coming from and, yeah, my parents warned me about that stuff too. It's kinda scary, but, the CB is a nice place. Sure, there are faults, quirks and mistakes made. But that's like everything, right? Like I sometimes discribe it, "The CB is a place for the weirdos, the artists, the outcasts, the creatives, the dorks and the misfits to come together and make AWESOMENESS."

So, yeah. The CB isn't perfect. But it's cool. And fun.
I'd just like to pick up from where the older CBers left off and... be weird.

Yes, absolutely! I've been neglecting my AEs a bit, so Writing probably hasn't seen much of the mentioned world-domination-intent-sugar-glider-CAPTCHAs, but I'mma let them and my CAPTCHAs take over my Camp NaNo April. Hopefully that helps.

And Starch, I'm flattered you called it that <3 but really, Morning was the original pep-talk master.
The CB has quite frankly changed my life. I have truly become a better, more creative, kinder, more empathetic, braver, more confident to "embrace my inner child"- well here at least XD- person.
I'm going to go start a three word story; we need another of those. Check the inkwell tomorrow :)

Literally a perfect explanation^^
Something that I find cool about the CB is how it's always changing. Subtley, yes, but changing nonetheless. Take a look at Pudding's Place, a long time ago it used to be a place where people only talked about movies and music and plays, and now we have picturings (both written and visual), SIs, art threads, poetry threads, contests, and Ski Lodges (I'm still very, very impressed that Ski Lodges exist lol). So, change isn't necessarily bad, but that being said, CRAZInesS is AWEsOME and we should try to bring it back a lil bit XD Maybe I'll do some thread digging and find a crazy new idea to revive :P

Now that I think of it, we have had some toned-down world domination. On NaNo, it ended with a Hamilton party and meeting Lin-Manuel Miranda and the original cast of Hamilton, and on here, I think it ended with us moving into bookstores with cats, dogs, and hot chocolate. Pretty great, if I do say so myself.
My fan club could take over the world and turn Earth into an Abcde-dom! Who wants to join me?!
