Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Dear Admin,

I went to the Star Shard part of the Cricket website, and if you want to type in the author's and artist's corner it says on the bottom of the last page that the website is being changed, and you're not able to type in any comments there. It has been like that for a while now, and I didn't know when it would be fixed.

Dear Hannah,

The change was that the computer guys were taking down the box for adding new comments to this part of the site (which they did). Fred Durbin and Emily Fiegenschuh had been responding to questions for many months, but when "The Star Shard" series ended, it was time to let them go so that other authors and artists could talk to Cricket readers and explain how they work. Coming in November, that issue's cover artist, Kelly Murphy, will be featured on the Author and Artist Corner.

To everybuggy who congratulated Fred Durbin on the news that "The Star Shard" was being expanded and would be published as a book next year--he was very touched by all your good wishes, but a bit shy about adding his comments to the Chatterbox.
