I'm not sure why these are always on CaC, because photography is a form of art, but PP is so crowded right now, and umm, tradition? ANYWAY, rules:
1. It must be your own photo that you took.
2. No people's faces in the photo.
3. Obviously, nothing innapropriate/against CB rules.
I'll judge first- theme is dark, judging date is Febuary 20th :P

Wow, that's so cool that you know each other! Here's mine, although it's not very good. It was nighttime, and where I live we NEVER get snow, so this was the most winter-like photo I could find. When I'm older, I'm planning on living in a cabin in the woods in Colorado, so I'll get snow. And I love cabins. And woods.

Honorable Mentions!
Fallen Leaf- I appreaciate that you entered even with not much snow, I definitely relate! :)
Peppermint- The glaze of white over the log looks pretty, and the bit of green in the backround works really well!
3rd Place: Silver Crystal! It's pretty impressive to get a bird picture up close like that, and the pic looks very cozy(?) and almost holiday-ish with the red house.
3rd Place tie: Firelily! I'm not sure what it is about this picture, but I really like it- the rays of sunlight streaming through and the feeling that you're right there on top of a hill, I think.
2nd Place: NerdFace! It looks just like a winter wonderland, the persective of the lake is nice.
1st Place: Cynthia Maple! Whoa, this picture looks almost proffesional!! I always love the pop of red of a cardinal. Congrats!
