Hi everyone! You might remember me, my name is AutumnArtist and I joined in December of 2016 (when I just turned 12). I used to be really active, but recently I haven't been on that much. Some of the older CBers might remember, but I've noticed that the majority of CBers on here now are all relatively new, and joined within the past 5 months.
Anyways, I'm a junior in High School now, almost a senior. I've been really bogged down with SAT Prep, college research, and tons of homework. Also, I realized that the CB has mostly younger chatterboxers. Most people on here are between the ages of 9 and 13, which made me come to the conclusion that I feel too old for the CB.
A lot of the threads that are on here are directed towards younger people, and the chatterbox has so many restrictions of what you can say, what you can't say, etc (because there are young people on here).
So, I have decided I'm going to leave permanently. I don't know that many of you, but I'll miss you regardless!

P.S. - This isn't an impersonator. I know there's been a lot of impersonating recently, and everyone's guards are up, but I promise it's really me.
We'll miss you, AA. Do remember about February 14 CB Alum Reunion Day each year, with a special anniversary in 2023.

Good luck! I definitely remember you. I joined a year later than you, at the most, and while I wasn't on the majority of the CB at the time, I do remember seeing you around in 2018-2019. It does feel a little weird to not be of the "new" CBers. We'll all miss you. You're a lovely person.

Okay so first of all, bye and second of all we'll miss you, but seriously!??!?!? Do you really have to make "little people" feel bad? Like come on! We should all be treated equally here!

Ok, I know how it feels when you're younger and older kids don't want to hang out with you as much. I get that it can feel bad.
But AA didn't sound condescending at all, to me, and I'm 99.9% sure she didn't mean to. She didn't say anything against younger kids or make it sound like it was your fault, she just said it wasn't really the place for her any more because it was mostly populated with people younger than her, and that's understandable.
Think about it- if you're, say, 9 years old, you would probably rather hang out with other 9 year olds than a bunch of 5 year olds, right? That doesn't mean the 5 year olds are at fault for their age, they're just at a different stage of life. I think you're overreacting a little, sorry.

Goodbye, we'll miss you!! I don't know you super well, but I've always seen you around and you're really cool. I definitely know how you feel, it's strange being older than everyone else. Good luck with college and everything beyond that, I wish you the best!
