Okay, first I want to say that I LOVE the idea of this thread. 

Secondly, since you said I could be a nerd and be welcomed, I am a COMPLETE nerd of all of the following: Star Wars, Harry Potter, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Lord of the Rings among several other more obscure things.

I share your obsession with HP, AtLA and LotR (I've watched the original trilogy of Star Wars but I'm not too into it). I also love love love Percy Jackson (pretty puch anything by Rick Riordan).

Hi! I love the idea of this thread. 

I am a nerd on the following subjects: Circus, Harry Potter, The Mysterious Benedict Society, and anything cooking related.

Have you guys watched the new Mulan? It's SOO GOOD!!!! They changed a lot from the first one though Frown It's still really good.

I've watched the new Mulan and I did really really like it. I thought the fight scenes were all awesome and that she had a sister, because I'm pretty sure she did in real life. I do wish it had had better character development though...but it was still awesome

Yup, the new Mulan is super cool. I'm still miffed they got rid of the talking dragon tho, he was the best character :( Still a great movie though.

Ooh yes the new Mulan is good! It wasn't as amazing as I imagined, I'm not sure why...maybe the character development thing like you said. I wasn't super impressed with the characters. The witch was my favorite, I considered being her for Halloween but figured the costume would be too hard :|

Um has anyone else seen Pacific rim? If not, you need to! It is freaking awesome! Kinda dumb, but awesome! It's about these huge robots fighting huge monsters. Yes, it is as cool as it sounds.

I freaking love that movie, it's great. I also love the soundtrack for it. Have you watched the second one?

I am a self proclaimed Star Wars nerd, KotLC nerd, HP nerd, PJO/HoO/ToA nerd, and AtLA/AtLoK nerd. (though, more AtLA than AtLoK.)

I will happily geek out about any of these subjects with anyone... 

And Kitty, this was such a cool idea!
