I have noticed a lot of reactions to the recent impersonations. Let me just say, I am very sorry for those people who have been impersonated, but we need to calm down.

Please, ignore the impersonator. All they want is attention, so let's not give them that. Just specify that it is an impersonation and forget about it.

For me, being impersonated was a really hurtful thing. I can't really...forget about an impersonation.

I've been impersonated before. I know it's terrible. But the thing is, the impersonator wants attention. We're giving them attention with all these threads ranting at them and people talking about leaving because of them. And they're going to keep doing it while we give them attention. Every time that I can remember that we've had an impersonator, they've gone away when we stopped paying attention to them.

So yes, keep calling out posts when people are impersonated. But don't discuss it any further. Don't even respond to this comment.

Stop giving the impersonator what they want.
