Recently, on the YWP Classroom, there's been a discussion about LGBTQ+ rights. 

It was then I, at least, noticed, that Kitty and I had been impersonated. 

The worst thing? We're both nonbinary, part of the LGBTQ+ community. 

Impersonator. 

This. Needs. To. Stop. Right. Now. 

Stop targeting LGBTQ+ people, stop making us seem lesser, we're all the same, our gender does not matter. 

Why. Why are you doing this to us. Why. Tell me. I won't get mad. Please. I just want to know, but I really don't want to have to leave.

Another bad thing? The impersonator almost impersonated Kitty and me perfectly. 

I want the CB to be a peaceful place, but that's nearly impossible. 

So if I'm impersonated another time, I'm going on hiatus. And I could ghost. And if I see another suspicious comment, I will burst. 

I'm sorry if I'm coming off as rude or narcisstic.

That is not my point.

My point is to stop impersonating people.

You are very right, the impersonator does need to stop. What confuses me most about this whole situation is what the impersonator's point is. Are they actually trying to be mean and annoying? Why would someone want to do that?

All this being said, though, we should try not to give the impersonator attention. Night, going on hiatus is probably exactly what the imp wants you to do. Don't give em what they want. Show them that you are better than their stupid, petty insults. You are powerful, and the impersonator is a coward who steals people's identities to make them seem larger. But they're not. And we need to show them that.

So don't say anything to this mindless, sensless imbecile, and don't leave. Don't give them what they want.

Perhaps we should stop with the detective work.

Me saying "I'm not the imp" is not incriminating evidence that I'm the imp.

Chickadee saying she's not the imp is not incriminating evidence either. I don't think she did it.

So, can we all just stop and take a step back? Whoever did this really shouldn't have. BUT they might be feeling really, extremely guilty right now.

So let's just give it a rest, kay?

A note to the impersonator: What point are you trying to make? There are other ways to gain self-confidence. Stand in front of a mirror and tell the person in the mirror positive things about them. If you feel depressed, go see a therapist. Stop with the impersonations. Please.

Please stop impersonating. Also, ideally, if someone is pretending to be another person, doesn´t that mean they want to ¨be¨ like that person? Anyway, you are awesome peeps! ( I have a question though. What is nonbinary? )

Nonbinary generally refers to people who don't identify as all one gender or all another geneder, but may identify some characteristics of each. But it may mean different things to different people.

As an ally and someone questioning my own gender identity, this is sad to hear. I just don't see the point of impersonating, let alone using it to make members of the LGBTQ+ community seem lesser. I can't wait for the day that everyone accepts the community as equals.
P.S. This is probably not the best time to ask, but what is the YWP classroom?
