Grr! I am sick of how TNO and GloWorm keep slamming the Jonas Brothers! Like, on my music quiz, one of the questions was do you ever want to meet the Jonas Brothers. GloWorm said, No, but if I did I would throw cream pies in their faces. I mean, that is so darn rotten!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR..........

No, offense, but I think that you need to lighten up a bit... It's all in good spirits and for fun! And, no offense, but it's kind of hard not to slam the Jonas Brothers when the oppertunity arises...

Yup. As in "Do all things without complaining or arguing." Somehow complaints have been accepted into our culture, though. It's almost seen as a right.

To a MuseBlogger, a cream pie in the face would be considered a compliment.

I think the reason complaining is a sin is because it annoys people and makes them feel bad. However, this thread specifically says, "Rants & Complaints." If you don't like listening to complaints, stay off this thread. I don't see anything wrong with writing a complaint if the person who reads it knows that it's a complaint and won't be offended/annoyed. If you disagree, don't complain.

I myself am sick and tired of not complaining! I've made at least a dozen threads and not clicked submit because they sounded like whining! I'm not doing that anymore! If I have something to complain about, I'll post it right here!

I'm tired of practically everyone my age that I know hating  me. They all seem to assume that since I'm vegetarian, I hold the fact that they're not against them. I don't!! I get kind of angry when people kill bugs for NO REASON WHATSOEVER, but if they want to eat meat, fine! I've never complained about it, and I won't now, even on a complaint thread, because it doesn't bother me. But no one understands that what actually annoys me is when they hold my vegetarianism against me! And everyone is spreading rumours about me that aren't true! People say I sit on the trash can!!! And, somehow, everyone believes them! Why? Why can't they just leave me alone? At least there's no recess now... But still! I hate the fact that everyone hates me! And I don't care how stupid and annoying this looks, because this is a complaint thread!

Sorry, everyone. Maybe I do care. It's just that... I never get to let my feelings out, and it's unhealthy to keep it all bottled up inside. In my opinion, complaining is actually necessary at times. I hope this thread doesn't get lost...

UGH. That is really, really awful, Ima. I know this'll sound insincere (internet does that), but I understand how you feel and I'm really sorry. I hope things improve for you. "Say what you mean and be who you are, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." ~Dr. Suess

I understand what you mean about the rumours, too, because for some strange reason some of the airheads at my school have thought up the idea that I hate the new principal (also our social studies teacher). I hear about these rumours on the bus this morning, and it's like, what the heck. I really like the new principal, he's great. But- uuggghhh. Do these people have nothing better to do??

About everyone hating you- yes. I know what you mean there too. How many times have I said that to myself? Way, way too many. It always seems like they're out to get me! Why *me*?!

This looks whingy, I know. I'm sorry, but... ugh. The world in general annoys me so much sometimes. It's so corrupt and immoral and rude and incogitant...

Everyone is wonderful on the CB, though. Admin, you do a commendable job of keeping the atmosphere friendly and tension-free, and we all really, really appreciate everything you guys do. *headnod* Thanks!

Thanks, Mary! We think you all are wonderful, too. I'm so sorry that you and Ima are having problems at school. When I was in sixth grade, I was convinced that everyone hated me--especially because my parents were teachers (if that doesn't make people hate you, nothing will). But please don't take it personally; those kind of kids just need a target. Plus, not everyone has the priviledge of being as well-read, articulate and intelligent as you Chatterboxers are, so hold your heads high and stick with the people that love you. I'm glad you have the CB for support (and some much-needed venting :).

Yay Admin! When I was in school, everybody hated me too. Some kids tried to trip me and then were like "If you give me the answer to problem nine I'll be your friend forever." I mean who wants to be your friend in the first place? You tried to TRIP me! I was just some person you want on your team in a science jeopardy but not on your team for gym. Someone you wanted to sit at the same table with so you could cheat off of them, but not at the same lunch table.  It didn't help that my friends were in other classes, and my class consisted of the mean "cool" kids and the kids who pick their nose and wipe it under the desk. I ended up staying sick from school for ten days before my parents took me out of school for good. Then my sickness magically disappeared. The magical treatment to all your problems is to move to NJ and homeschool with me. But in the meantime, I know how you feel. Everything will be okay in the long run when the rest of those people are drunk and homeless, and you are rich and famous.

I don't have anyting to complain about this moment, but here's a quote.

Calvin: You'd better be nice to me, Moe.

Moe: Why?

Calvin: Because someday my tax dollars will be paying for your prison cell.

I remember that one, actually. I think Moe is kind of supposed to represent all failure and evil in the world.

*cough* Moe was actually supposed to represent all the jerks in Bill Watson's school. He said that in one of the Calvin & Hobbes books *cough*
