Hello, Mantis! I'm Bakerloo, and I've been around the Chatterbox since 2016 or so. I mostly spend my time around Pudding's Place, Chirp at Cricket, and Kyngdom (which I highly recommend) What are your favorite musicals? (Are you even able to choose? I know I can't) Early this year I was in Matilda, so I think that's my favorite at the moment.

I'm PygmyOwl. I am also an avid reader and author, I recently finished writing my first novel. What books do you like reading? I also love musicals, my forever favorite is Les Mis, and I'm currently obsessed with Hamilton and Willow, too. I don't play the cello, I'm a flutist/flautist/whatever you want to call it. But my cousin is a cellist, so I'm sort of familiar with the instrument.

Aww, thank you! I'm glad I got such a warm welcome. It's so nice to meet you all. A few of you have asked about playing the cello. For the most part, cellists do not get the melody. However, their part is very intricate. It's very rarely devoid of excitement. We play nearly the whole piece, with lots of different melodies and notes. While we don't always, there are times when we carry the main tune. It's really hard to explain! My favorite part of playing the cello is when we play something like the song Variations on a Well-Known Sea Chantey. The cello part is very boisterous, and it feels important even if most people don't pay attention to it. I LOVE that feeling. I want to be a cellist on Broadway!
