ok, name change, next time you see a post from me it will be with the username Ripley Wren. Also, I just want to make sure: I do post story snippets, plots, and chapters in inkwell, right? I just posted a poem on the wrong place twice and I just want to make sure I don't cause any more trouble on accident!
Yes, Inkwell is the place for those things. Thanks for asking. But we're not really strict about that. Nothing is "wrong." The suggested sections just help keep things organized and easier to find.

Yeah, Inkwell is the place for that, as long as you keep each story on its own thread. Like, if you’re writing a book, don’t make a different thread for each chapter. You don’t seem like the kind of person who would do that, but I’ve seen newer CBers do it in the past, so it’s just a reminder. Read you around!
